Visual Kei huh? Yeah, I can tell. Not a big fan of Kei but there are some good songs from certain Bands.

Do As Infinity, UVERworld and High and Mighty Color are good (mainly because they're not Kei). Everything else is ughh..... but that's just me.

I'm not that into JRock (I mainly love Jpop) but these are the few bands/singers I listen to that fall under that genre:

Do As Infinity
UVERworld
High and Mighty Color
Gackt
Hyde
Onmyouza
Access

That's all I can think of right now... like I said, not much of the JRock fan. =\
And most of the artists in this list have Jpop qualities to them.

dude, classical music is so amazing. i might just listen to it exclusively for the next month or maybe (hopefully) more

i'm downloading everything i can find of bach / beethoven / mozart. got some haydn downloading, and teh haze put me on to some more (presumably) dope **** like bernstein and berlioz. i haven't been so excited about listening to music since i first got into rap. classical is amazing!!! the best thing in the world is playing melee while listening to classical.

i really like debussey

he's like the perfect step between more stereotypical "old-sounding" classical music and lame new **** like pointilism

Bach is by far my favorite. If you really like the Baroque stuff, I highly recommend Vivaldi.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8rPBmTblToI I really like 1:10 - 1:50 in this, it reminds me of Zelda II for some reason
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0BMlQky9CI4
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pFy8o6MFbIE Reminds me of Civilization II *nostalgia*
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QPba-i26YNA

One of the things I love about classical music is how differently the same piece can be played and sound amazing either way and anywhere in between. Compare the last link up there with:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aTd5Wg6B9JU

I noticed you got some Bach works on piano earlier. Personally I would recommend getting the Bach pieces played on the original instruments as he never wrote anything specifically for piano. That's just personal preference though, I think harpsichord/clavinet/etc pieces sound awkward on piano. I suppose there's no reason not to get both though if you have access to them.

Somewhat related, Castlevania music is fing amazing. I was listening to CV 1-3 songs looped on my NES sound card emulator for like 6 hours.

I should make an 8/16-Bit music post sometime soon. Brief preview:

Good stuff P. More people should like music like this:)

If your interested in the Romantic period of music, then i recommend these if u haven't heard them b4.

This peace is really good to listen to b4 tourneys. It builds tension at some parts, but at the same time makes you feel really powerful (well it does for me.)

This one is just amazing. This is one of the best orchestra pieces ever. Who needs the choir when there's this orchestra part?

Wow. Meg and Dia are too cute.

I've been listening to more folk-punk stuff lately. Mostly old Against Me!, Defiance Ohio and Rosa.

Here's some of my favorite folk punk songs:
Defiance, Ohio - Chad's Favorite Song
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RKNqYRTy7hw&fmt=18

Andrew Jackson Jihad - Brave As A Noun
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SqmDbGY0cXA

Here's a ridiculously awesome metal song:
Thou - Their Hooves Carve Craters in the Earth
http://noladiy.org/mp3/thou/Malfeasance-Retribution/01 Their Hooves Carve Craters in the Earth.mp3

Here are my some songs I like a whole lot:
Fugazi - Waiting Room
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SGJFWirQ3ks

Refused - New Noise
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2xZR1EV8hjs&feature=channel

Beach Boys - God Only Knows
(I was named after Brian Wilson, and I grew up on these guys. This is one of the best songs ever written in my opinion.)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NDfH_J4MAUQ

Queen & David Bowie - Under Pressure
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xtrEN-YKLBM

David Bowie - Life on Mars

At The Drive In - Pattern Against User
