Cool, now you've given me some motivation to practice in Melee.

I've never done an MM over $1 before, heck I barely do those, so this should be interesting...

Edit: never mind I lost $5 to Sveet before. You better not be getting any Marth v. Ganon tips from him!

We didn't count pools (AFAIK), so we didn't know about you playing wafles.

And we were only counting the tournaments from this season (veggie was joking when he said he beat you at PnT :p), because people get better.

When you look at those, Kappy & Meneil had their wins against Quik & Bo to push them over the edge. You didn't have... anything really worth mentioning tbh.




But it's the start of the new season now, so... feel free to kick everybody's *** now

We didn't place the same... I placed better than both of them. I know you see a lot of 13s and 17s, but if you look at it, my tournament results are clearly better. Neither of them outplaced each other, and I outplaced both of them. It all boils down to this:

Which carries more weight? Moderately better tournament results, or bracket upsets? Even though Kappy and Meneil's upsets were impressive, it has been stated that tournament results ARE more important than upsets.

Remember, I'm not arguing that I should be higher than them. I'm arguing that they're not higher than me. This is taken from the OP:

+ Overall tournament performance
+ Notable players you have beaten/lost to
+ Tournament consistency

+ My overall tournament performance was better.
+ Even though I didn't beat any notable players this time, I didn't lose to any notable players either (unlike both of them who lost to players I would have statistically beaten).
+ I attended more tournaments and placed more consistently overall.

As you can see, I have them beat in 2/3 of the criteria... not to mention arguably tying in the third.

Anyways, I'm going to bed... I hope you guys make the right decision

Good ****. There might be more Melee players than usual at this. ;)

Also I just realized I should be #1 because I have also beaten Brox in tournament and made him cry.

Who from IL is going to MLG and would like to split a hotel room with the people i normally bring. I dont think you guys would mind grimace using a bed since we're close like that.

Why would we count Kirk's vote if he didn't contribute at all to the making of the list and he said himself he won't contribute?

There were only 5 panelists that made the list.

Don't worry twss, you and les were included in the original list of his wins so we knew about them, donesn't matter now though since he's back on.

Xyless is #10 in our hearts.

almost time for my art history final...i had to take an art requirement and i thought this would have been an easy A and I was WRONG. spent the last 7-8 hours memorizing over 80 artworks....****!!
