on another note, what did you guys think of Hunger Games? I thought it was a really good adaptation to the book, but at times the camera work was almost nausea inducing :/

Just like the books, I liked the first half of the movie much better than the second half. Overall it was really good though. Agree on the camera part lol, it was going crazy sometimes.

There's always next time. Also my new job gives me free weekends, I might as well start using them to go out. I already drove to Iowa the other weekend to hangout. Might as well start to drive to events now. lol

What are everyone's thoughts on doing 1 stock Bo3/Bo5 at the next Don't Blink for Brawl singles instead of the traditional/grueling 3 stock matches we've been doing. It's a pretty drastic change but personally I love it and it seems like it would make matches A LOT more hype and entertaining.

I'm down with the idea. I liked the pacing for melee as well when they ran 2 stocks for cactuars ruleset, but all the jank stages sucked.

I really like the idea (as I said in that blog) and I'd likely run my tournaments that way if I ever started hosting.

Well if we start doing it, we shouldn't treat it like a side tournament. we need to be serious about it and stick to it, unless we really hate it. who gives a **** about what the other regions do... we haven't in the past.
