Falln with his recent but very consistent success may very well be #1, but I know that Y.b.M. still places very well overall with the exception of that poor showing at the last SiiS... though that could be a strike that isn't in Y.b.M.'s favor.

To be honest, I wouldn't mind putting Tree as high as #3 for Sheik currently.

4. Billy (AL - Doesn't travel?)
5. Ripple (IL -> Travels) or Mars (UH - Travels?) or Tree (TX - Doesn't travel)

Texas is, well... honestly a noticably stronger state than any other one that has the contenders that are at or placed higher than him and Tree places pretty decently 7th-13th, iirc. Tutu does moderately well at regionals and well in MI (though he doesn't think he does as good as he feels he should), Billy is mostly in his state but consistently places top-5, Ripple has "officially" picked up Sheik as the last SiiS and outplaced TuTu there, but I don't know much about his results since there.

Is Mars still active?

Now that I think about it, it seems kinda close overall with 3-5 for Sheik.

I mean I wasn't even gonna make a case for be being on there but if youre putting people who picked her up like 2 months ago on there then you may as well throw me on there.

That's like smaller than the average smashfest.

Name another sheik who plays consistently?

Ideally, top five would be:
1a/b: Judo and Ed
3-5: Tutu, Billy, Tree.

Then you slap a mostly subjective order on it and bam. Done. The reason Rip is listed as high is because it appears that he's around the same skill level as Tutu and for multiple reasons also outplaced him at their last regional.

You might he able to make a case for Ankoku (Aisight), but honestly I don't know how well he does out west now. mars is probably in that same Tree/Billy/Tutu area.

I knew Chu quit. But I didn't. I don't have any recent placings with Kirby since I haven't been to many big tournaments. And I've been playing more ZSS since I felt there's nothing more I need to prove with Kirby. But I've been puttin in work since 08 with Kirby. But hey, go ahead and throw falln to number one if that's what it takes to be number one. I encourage it....

Well, We need people who're active with the character and doing good with them as well, Not old legends. They can't keep their spot forever if they're not doing anything.

Oh I've gotten first place at a recent tournament , that wasn't even a month ago thanks to Kirby... It's not like I don't play him. I still use him... but like I said if that's all it takes... then hey by all means, I encourage it....

Didn't place well at the last SiiS cause I was playing around in pools...and got Coney 1st round and then I lost to Kain in loser's. So it's not like I'm playing scrubs here...

By saying "if that's all it takes" you're implying (in a not very subtle manner) that falln's accomplishments don't match your own. Why do you think so?

Ummm... I haven't heard about Falln until recently. He has done amazing this year at majority of the tournaments he's been to. I'm not taking that away from him at all. It actually makes me happy. He beat beat some pretty good players as well, High ranking players.

I've also being doing with Kirby this year. I also beat Shugo with my Kirby this year. There are so many tournaments I'd have to search for though to show it. If I have time, I might just go search for them, but I work and make music so I'm usually busy. I have tournament results from the end of last year where I've done good as well.

He has been doin well recently, I never stopped doin well... that's all I'm saying. I'm not implying he's undeserving or anything that makes a reference towards me bashing him. I'm just saying, I have always been doin good with Kirby and never stopped, so I don't think the number 1 should be in his grasp that easy... Unless I'm overlooking something. And if I am please enlighten me...

Personally, I think billy is at least 3rd but I got that region bias. Billy has been getting unlucky brackets lately so he hasn't done anything too notable, but just from playing him and watching him play I think he can still retain 3rd

I've beat Lain like twice now, although he has the positive record against me.
There are some other tournaments I didn't post because I mainly used ZSS to win them...but those are a few tournaments I found. I even have some from 2010...but I don' think those tournament are needed. I would have done better at MLG if I didn't have to use the GC Controller... I am horrible with that thing...

Yes, Mars is still active, he's currently ranked 6th in the Utah PR, but come the next two weeks he'll most definitely move up (he just placed 1st last tournament we had, so thats saying something). If I had to guess, he'll probably end up placing around 4th in the rankings.

Also, no, he doesnt travel, most of Utah is too poor and lacks access to transportation capable of making it further than a neighboring state. He did however go to Vegas about 3-4 months ago where he placed 5th, losing to SK92 and I believe FOW.

and just throwing this out there, Cable never placed well in singles, and Dr. Grandpa hasn't played in over 6 months
