I don't care what Saturday we do this, as long as we do a Melee tournament (Or at least Friendlies. I haven't played Brawl in over a month)

This is what is most likely going to happen.
that's what the manager wants if one does go down.
and if i end up hosting one, it will be this day since parents will be out of town.

the 1st is coming up fairly fast, if you don't get it set in stone in the next few days, you may want to push it back so people have more time to plan around it as 2-3 days of notice isn't much to time if you want a good turn out. Also, as this is a new tournament, you should get control of this thread if possible, if not, then start a new one and let this one die.

I've considered that, but i can't do that unless it's going to be a permanent thing.
also, i'd like to talk to our community about the new name of the tourney if this does follow through.
I should know most likely by tomorrow if it's going to be at GC or my house.
Considering this will be my first tourney if i do hold it, it might be a tad slow, but it will work out, come on. it will be the first tourney in 2 months i believe?

i'd be representing arizona i guess. if i might throw in a recommendation, if you expect the tournament to be a bit slow, start a bit earlier, at like 10 so people can still go out at night, or make it a 2 day event on saturday and then sunday. just a thought, i've never ran a tournament so i don't know what i'm talking about.

I'm hosting.
Dark Ryu. I believe i'd need help, since this would be my 2nd official tourny,
but we want this to be the most smooth and biggest tourny Utah has had for Brawl. I'm assuming around 30+ players will come. varying from different skill, but all are decent players*my locals xD*. We are having out of state players come. Utahns, lets show them our stuff. We are not talked about, lets change that. :D

And you shouldnt worry about your wisdom teeth. I got mine out like a month ago and I didnt swell at all, I ate fries and ravioli that night and the next day I was up and alive. Also I had no pain at all thanks to meds.

I figured this should be something a lot better than UST, and WAY better than Metal Awesome. I think an abbreviation would work, but we kind of didn't try for UST. So maybe we should take something that sounds cool or "gamer" like, and use that for abbreviations. Maybe even take two words, and only abbreviate one. This is the example I thought of driving home tonight.
