Yep. It's the first thing i asked Alex strife before I made the Florida apex qualifier in September . Trust me I would prefer that broken piece of **** gone but because apex has him legal, quals have him legal too

We should tell alex strife to shove it. JK. Alex does lots of great thing for out community. When will we know this will even be an apex qualifier. I hope we can gain enough support after this event to justify having a MK banned event, of this magnitude later.

Well I knew he was listed as legal in the ruleset, but I was just curious if the intent of that was to try to make it an Apex qualifier, or if they just wanted to do that anyway. Either way the it wouldn't really affect me that significantly, but I was just curious if that had anything to do with it...

they like to do rulesets for tourneys that are near big tourneys. They did rulesets for SKTAR and WHOBO for practice

how do they make "apex qualifiers" count towards apex? can one not register for apex without entering/placing in/winning an "apex qualifier"?

Apex Qualifiers are primarily tournaments that also offer seeding points towards Apex 2013. If you manage to get a lot of seeding points, you'll be put into an easier R1 pool. If you go to Apex qualifiers and decide not to go to Apex, well the points are practically thrown away lol

i dunno about you guys, but I would much enjoy an easier round 1 pool
so that if round 2 pools happen, they are easier as well
