vs falcon/metal falcon, you can just let him grab you at the edge, then he will side-b off every time.

I'd say very hard falco/luigi are the hardest. Yoshi is a pain too.

Fox is the best cpu, although Classic Mode battles against giant characters (played on Very Hard when you only have only one stock) can throw you for a loop as long as.........DK.

You also have to take account for what version of the game you have(1.0, 1.1, 1.2- you can find on bottom of disk) I've learned that the v. 1.0 cpu's have tougher and smarter AI, while the two latter are quite a bit easier

He spams the up b move anytime you get in close range.

To beat him I usually just jump next to him so he could try to pull it off and when he misses I let him have it.

There is not one character in my opinion that is HARD on melee. It truly depends on the player.
