Several points... 1. To the thread maker... It would NOT be financially beneficial for Nintendo to include Smash64 into Brawl as you say, in fact it would hurt them, because it would kill Virtual Console sales of the game. VC sales of Smash64 are sure to be high if they have it out in time...

If Mii can be different sizes in Brawl, it slightly messes with Brawl, while if Mii can't be different sizes in Brawl, it slightly messes with Mii... However its probably not enough to discourage Sakurai and his team if they like the idea... I hope it happens. Best new character suggestion...

Awesome idea. However, isn't the height and girth of Miis adjustable? That hurts the concept, IMO. It would be fairly easy to test the different dimensions and make sure none were broken, but we'd still be talking about chars with adjustable stats.

Pokemon is the biggest franchise of the last 10 years, and its cast consists of HUNDREDS of stylized fighters who already have movesets. Count on more than 3 Pokemon, and don't complain about there being more than 3, because Pokemon has earned it.

The point is, casual fans will be more important for the game designers than will pros. If it were made for pros, they would only touch the lower tier Melee characters, they would only make "fair" stages, and they wouldn't bother with items or single player mode. Over 6 million people bought...

It would be interesting if Sonic moved like he did in his games instead of like traditional SSB, ie he starts walking and then slowly picks up speed until he's sprinting, instead of tilting to walk and smashing to run... It would add an interesting dynamic to his character...
