I've found air dodging peoples' aerials or up smashes while you're above them lead to pretty safe rests. Especially if they engage you from under with aerials... You can kill at really early percents if they do.

I managed to get smooth lander earlier. I counterbalanced the stats with other gear. I have 0 attack, +7 defense, 0 speed. It feels really good but I haven't played a real person using it yet.

Equipment that has L canceling. I think it's worth it to at least try it out.

But Smash 4 DOES have L Cancelling...

I'm really think Pac Man is an incredible character. Doesn't seem like that many people use him. He has so many mixups and can punish a lot of options.

Being a casual has nothing to do with it... that's like saying someone who L canceled in Melee is a casual. "They weren't good enough with their character to combo without negating some landing lag." I think before everyone starts arguing, everyone should try out the mechanic. I'm curious as to...

Yeah, I've been punishing running attacks with oos rest. Running up and resting really takes some people by surprise online, though I don't think they really knew what they were doing.

Anyone aware of any? I've been landing half of the hits of the drill kick -> rest while in the air but I have no idea if that's guaranteed or if my opponent is just not DIing well. That and UAIR -> rest have been my most successful options thus far.

Curious how much of a percentage difference vectoring makes.

That stinks :\ I feel like there must be some way for it to work. It would make life so much easier.

But if we have other items that counter the stat boosts and end up with minimal stat boosts across the board, it wouldn't be broken. Just would allow for faster-paced gameplay.

Is there a way to access my replays by plugging my SD card into my computer? That'd make life so much easier. I guess that wouldn't make much sense though since people are going out to buy capture cards. Just figured I'd ask here. Thanks.
