man you guys all missed it when me and kirbykaze and a few others all talked about this tactic like 50 pages ago

ive been doing it really well lately actually, generally not intentional but ive gotten the hang of reacting to being hit with a shine while being airborne and doing something right away as opposed to shielding like most people do

dsmashing them with peach afterwards is especially satisfying
Yeah this jump garbage is old.

blue falcon is the best one, and i feel like alot more people know how to play against fox than falcon. theres a good middle ground of people that dont really know how to play against falcon.

Dave I will critique your videos at a later time. Probably in a few hours, maybe as late as midnight or some ****

Would anyone mind commenting on my doubles performance in at least one of these videos? The first three I'm not performing as well as I should, but the last three I'd say I improved. Critiques are definitely accepted!

So far from the last one ...

Don't miss the gimmes - ledgehop knee when Marth is clearly not sweetspotting the ledge, missing the roll to let the Marth get back

Also work on when your partner gets the grab and is waiting for you to do something - this is something that you need to work out with your partner

Being aware in teams is hard though ~_~

Dave I watched the second to last game.
dude you are getting really good
the only mistakes I saw was you should have kneed instead of uair'd off the ledge when marf spot dodged, and you need to work on your decision making/positioning
when your teammate is working on a ledge guard, don't let the opponent come help. put up a wall between them and eliminate that possibility
be less aggressive; in teams especially your falcon stocks are super fragile. don't go off the stage unless you need a clutch ledge guard and are behind
i really like your movements
that is all

Oh yeah, R3... Scar's tumultuous WC break-in tourney haha.

Curious to see how he does at ROM 3 after having so much coast-to-coast playing style comparison/experience.

hey i was wondering

do you guys know how to avoid getting grabbed by good ic's and good docs???

i have tendencies to get off on ic's but i get sheild grabbed or dash grabbed so i either barely win or barely lose

the doc matchup is weird with falcon

cuz as doc you have to aviod problems

with falcon you have come up with answers haha

but yea any help is much appreciated :)

doc has trouble dealing with long spaced nairs, no matter how many times you repeat them

i dont even feel bad telling a doc main that cause its pretty much just a case of docs arms being way shorter than falcons legs and not a lot doc can do about a nair even when he expects it

i have the same problem vs ic's so i wont go into that one, but i know bair works well and stomp works pretty solid at pushing them too far away to shield grab. aerial then roll isnt bad, a lot of ic's dont really do anything about that one

Yeah, Doc has a REALLY bad grab range. Just make sure you aren't being lazy with your spacing

I think the "knee a lot" tactic works pretty well against wavedash characters like Climbers and Luigi

If you are about to get shieldgrabbed by ic's just gentlemen or go into rapid punches after your aerial! and if they are still in shieldgrab range buffer a roll when doing the AAZ gentlemen. totally safe

kels and ORLY had a huge argument about this; I agree with kels. Falcon's nair will beat fox's every time unless the fox nairs in between the 2 hits of falcon's nair (assuming that falcon has spaced it so the tip of his feet are hitting fox's foot)

its not really fair to say that falcons nair will beat fox's

its only true if falcon hits with the tip of his feet while standing still or retreating and fox nairs into it

if its only true if falcons spacing is good and fox's is bad, i'd be inclined to say its not true
