The North/West Pennsylvania Thread! HSV 3 October 27th!

I'm gonna be working on first post stuff soon. Don't send in requests till I say whenever.

As for panelists, atm we have myself, Umbra, and JBandrew. We need another philly area rep (Vex is no longer a panelist). Besides that, we need two others. I'm personally thinking one from LoCal (since they're sort of their own sect and travel to tourneys independently of other PA'ers, and a Pitts area might help. I'm thinking Camalange and Mav?

I would agree with giving LoCal a rep, and camalange would be a good choice... of course, the choice should be up to them.

As for mav, he could be a rep depending on when the rankings are done. Since there are only a handful of ToE members at state college over the summer, there would be no reason to have a rep from that area at the moment, and mav would be ToE's second panelist. If we do rankings during school though, having me and mav would leave scranton without a rep, which would be bad. idk, we'll think it over.

How close is State College to the Scranton scene? Don't they practically attend the same tourneys consistently?

Everyone always forgets GwJumpman. But yea, LoCal does need a rep but I don't think it's the top of the priority list because we still are a rather small crew.

state college is 2 1/2 hours away from scranton, we barely play at all during the school year.

I'm like the only guy from PA who goes to OH tourneys(While im home), lol.
I can be a panelist for western Pa/ and state college(Whichever you want me to be). But yeah, I'd be willing to do it. My tourney on Sunday will give me a really good idea of where Western PA stands now. I haven't seen much of it since December. There will be legit competition on Sunday since Ohio is coming (And hopefully you can too Chibo :o) , so I will be able to tell if there are potential good players in Western PA. I got one or two in mind, but only the tourney will tell.


Also, during school, why not me and umbra for state college, and Pav for Scranton? Since Truth isnt coming to PSU this semester, we can't use him for state college. :/

I wouldn't want to be a panelist for scranton during school, but I would suggest melon over pav b/c pav never goes to tournaments anymore, and he's impossible to get a hold of.

I 2nd this since its one of the biggest in PA tournaments that are held and its easiest from most PA regions to access.

No, it's gotta be sooner, that's a 4 month period if we wait for that, which is just as long as last time, which people didnt want to wait for. it should more be around 2-3 months

end it the beginning of September, let all the summer tourneys happen.

Although I agree Korsak, the thing is that a lot of players are inactive(me, smurf, tusm, ect) and the 2 month mark is around the corner, so idk

If by 2 month mark it's been about 5 weeks..... lol It's just over halfway. Normally I would push for a 2 month period at this point, I'm more inclined to go for a 2.5-3 month period this time. Ending it after August/early Sept might not be a bad idea as Gw said
