That's actually very true, boss. I was at my best in brawl back when I played only exclusively brawl. Ever since I tried to play both, I suffer terribly in my placement. What's why I'm currently playing Melee only to try and work on myself.
It's like that one saying. You can't hope to beat a specialist by being a jack of all trades. If person A is obsessed about their goal and you aren't, then sorry man, you're gonna lose. People who play melee exclusively rarely lose to players who play both, though there are exceptions, particularly the top ranked players in brawl such as Esam who can come to NC tournies and do well in Melee.

Foxy is moderately good in both, as you said there are those special people.
I play both, but I suuuuck majorly.
Also, iirc Esam used to play Melee before Brawl and practiced a lot awhile back.

i agree, any compentant top player would be able to beat me in the ditto based solely off their great understanding of the fundementals...
