This is a thread dedicated to those taking the great burden and responsibility of completing an entire pokemon RPG with the use of only one pokemon, unevolved, and HM slaves.
Please do not make any posts unless you are taking a solo challenge and are determined to complete it. We will let those that are post before any comments, okay? I'll post once commenting is allowed.​

Status: I defeated the Elite 4 with this along with like...70+ revives. Although Tate & Liza, and Drake were very difficult to take down. Also, this was a long ways back.

I've also cleared Ruby twice and FireRed with one Pokemon only, but those were evolved (Sceptile, Blaziken, and Charizard).

Having major issues with Morty. Curse -> Hypnosis is pretty **** against solo speed runs...especially when using a Pokemon with 20 base speed against Pokemon with 80+ base speed. ;-;

I just got really ****ing lucky. On my way to Olivine to talk to Jasmine about Amphy now. :3

You know what? Im gonna try this challenge.... a question though, suppose you use only one pokemon, in this case, pikachu like the post above me. How exactly do you get one if you don't have get one till about mid game? Are you allowed to use an emulator for that or something?

Well if you're running through DPPt, you can get it traded over at Sandgem, which is basically before you even really get started in the game. And if you don't want to have the EXP and overall trade issues that are likely to be created, you can just trade it over as an egg.

My Gold file was overwritten by a friend of mine (freaking *******), so I never got to finish it. D: I just had a friend trade a Farfetch'd egg over to my Platinum before the first badge though, so I'm going to do a mono-Farfetch'd run-through. 8D I'm entirely prepared to fail.

EDIT: I might try another Gold run-through as well, but with something else this time. Maybe Dunsparce?

Pokemon: Horsea (SEAHORSE, yes I do follow the capitalization, even though it is barely used anymore. Yes Im that old school) Male, lvl. 5 (I traded it for the same level my starter was)
Trainer: RED (Is it the OT or current trainer?)

Status: About to face rival (for all tense and purposes I refer to him as BLUE. Yes I am also that old school as to use red and blue)


Yeah. As you can guess I love the old pokemon games. I get nostalgia every time I play one

Ok so I downloaded CamStudio, filmed and saved as avi. When I try to upload to youtube, it won't let me... I look for the file, but I can't find it... help?

You're technally allowed 10:59.

Anyway, use Windows Movie Maker or the likes to split the file into two vids.

If you are playing off f your computer just take a screen shot with the print screen button (its most likely to the right of the F12 button) then paste it into a paint document or something where you can edit it and stuff
