Alllllright then! Welcome to my first ever tourney with SOLID and Rukkiko, Packin' In the Pounds!
The goal of this is to be a just-for-fun (that means no prize, folks) tourney that ensures that no character over-dominates it. How, you ask? Weight Classes!
The overall bracket is divided into four weight classes: Heavyweight, Upper-Middle weight, Lower-Middle weight, and Lightweight. The four finalists come from each individual bracket, kind of like the NCAA basketball tournament.

You have 2 weeks to sign up as of today! That means the deadline is May 31! No signing up during June!
There is a 64 player cap, but there is no cap for any specific bracket. The tourney is on a first come, first serve basis. For instance, if your bracket has 20 entrants at the end of the deadline, the first 16 will be taken and the last 4 will have to be reserves. So sign up now!
Rounds will most likely be about 3 or 4 days in length. No-shows are disqualified! Either me, SOLID, or Rukkiko will send out PMs to remind entrants of new round deadlines. Please DO NOT enter if you may be unavailable to complete your rounds.
Rules:
-3 Stock
-8 Minute Timer
-Items Set to "Off" and "None"
-Single Elimination
-All sets with the exception of the finals and Semi-finals are best of 3 matches
-This Finals and Semi-finals are best 3 out of 5.
-If the timer runs out, the winner is determined by stock and then percentage.
-If the stock and percentage of both players are the same after the timer runs out (even though it won't happen), Sudden Death WILL NOT be played, but a 1 stock playoff will be played, and the winner of that will win the match.
-No player may choose to play on a stage that they already won on, unless it is agreed upon by both players.
-Metaknight's infinite cape glitch is BANNED
-If the match ends with Bowser or Ganondorf's suicide, then the player who initiated the suicide is the winner of the match.
-Stalling is banned.
Stalling: The act of deliberately avoiding any and all conflict so that one may make the game unplayable. Running away from an opponent to reach a better position is not stalling, while doing an infinite grab endlessly against a wall is. Any infinite chain grabs must end quickly after 300% has been reached so as to prevent excessive stalling.
-Be honest about reporting your match, if I find out you were lying, I will have you DQ'ed.
-D3's STANDING Infinite CG is BANNED
-Be a good sport, if you lost, be a good loser, if you win, be a good winner.
-In order to maintain weight classes, you may only characters in the same weight class.
-If somebody is using a single pokemon out of the pokemon trainer, when they die and come back on the stage, they must be given free tim to switch back to the pokemon they are using.
