An All-Out Brawl
The Super Smash Bros. series is deeply intertwined with MLG’s roots, and we are thrilled to announce that Super Smash Bros. Brawl for the Nintendo Wii will be joining the Pro Circuit in 2010, marking a triumphant return for the franchise. With an intensely devoted fanbase and a fiercely high level of competition, Brawl will undoubtedly find itself right at home alongside the Pro Circuit’s other world-class titles.

* Registration for MLG Orlando Opens March 17 at 7pm ET
* The top 16 ranked players overall will earn pro status following the second Live Competition
* Over $60,000 in season prizes. Full prize list
* The first Super Smash Bros. Brawl Online Qualifier will be for MLG Columbus, and will help players boost their seed at all live competitions. Online Qualifier registration opens on March 15, and competition begins on March 29.

Just so everyone is clear, the online qualifiers are NOT required, and they will not start until AFTER Orlando. Details will be released soon on the entire circuit very soon. Here is what I can confirm, and look for a post from JV soon:

-We WILL have 2v2, 100% pot payout
-After columbus the top 16 in rank points will be 'Pro' and will receive a $200 travel stipend to the next event
-Invites to Nationals will be done by cumulative rank points, with more details to be released later

Like I said, JV will post more later, but if you are serious about competing you should try to attend all of the MLG events.

Online Qualifier for Orlando (March 29th, registration starts March 15th)
MLG Orlando (Florida - April 16-18)
MLG Columbus (Ohio - June 4-6)

*Note*: The online qualifier will improve your seed for the live Orlando event but is not a mandatory event in and of itself. You can enter the Live event in Orlando without ever having played in the online qualifier.

good job everyone we did it. Glad to here we got back on the circuit. Its kinda a happy day and sad day for me but hey no worries :)
