my yoshi is pretty good.
but I almost never use eggs, which I should start doing

just space bair, and do bair to upsmash, bair to nair, bair to uair
pivot grab a lot...do grab release stuff
use upair to kill, and find openings for upsmash and f-smash, they have great range
nair also kills when its fresh, but I use it a lot so its never fresh
neutral b is also pretty good to beat shields follow up with a dair

i never use egg roll or egg throw so I dunno about those

d-throw to down b works on a lot of characters too but you have to learn the percentages.

the only thing that happened at Game Galaxy that may be interesting for the list is the fact that George placed 3rd, and put Kismet into the losers bracket in winner's semis (but lost to him in losers finals)

Yes, thanks you I was about to say that too. Bair to forward tilt is mostly what I use. Otherwise you're just wasting that upsmash when the tilts work better anyway. And why don't you people use eggs? They are such a great high priority, spammable projectile. Heck you can be a decent Yoshi just by spamming eggs, bairs, and pivot-grabs. lol

Well yeah, I didn't mean it in the sense that you could spam it whenever. Anytime the opponent is across the stage or high enough above you or off the stage it should be spammed though. As going off the edge after your opponent is rather dangerous for Yoshi. It's always fun angling it so that it goes just by the ledge and hits someone just about to grab the ledge or interrupting their up-B recovery.
