I've laughed about for 15 minutes when playing sheik vs pichu. haha chain throws. I really think that's the saneist thing to do about sheik chain throwing you and not to come close to getting mad.

I've actually attended the last two MAJOR events [in the US, at least] in the melee community (Genesis and Pound 4). Yes, I was excited to go to both. But it wasn't because Tw1n and Twin_A posted incessantly in the pound 4 thread or because people talked up Genesis at every turn. It was because I understood the gravity of the events. Posts that talk about participants, venue size, amount of set-ups all contribute to hype. Random people popping in and saying "OOOOH HYPE THIS IS GOING TO ****" doesn't change how I feel about a tournament I'm already planning on/trying to attend.

Just find some people from were you're from and see about riding with them.

Or if you're flying then just ask how/when people are getting rides from the airport and join a group.

And being a nobody doesn't really matter in the smash community. My bro and I were nobodies prior to Genesis and we still had a blast. Just find some people and make friends with them. It's easy in the smash community. If that doesn't work then find my brother and I and we'll chill with you until you make friends at apex.

I'm curious to see Dr PP vs Amsah in tourney or lambchops vs amsah.

2 falcos that know the sheik match up pretty well vs the sheik that is probably most comfortable with the matchup (and possibly the best sheik to ever play)

And I am still a nobody trying to gain recognition in the Smash Community! I was @ Pound 4 and no one really know me @ all... Except Hat maybe cause I stayed in his Piano Shop! lol but yah It was still a blast just to go and take part in the "Hype." For me, I Love the Game, so to go to a place where hundreds of people also love the game, is just an unexplainable experience! Good Times!

i'll pichu ditto youa true test of skill. pichu outranges you, kills you at really low percents and can get some nasty combos for pichu and tech chase a out of d-throw. it's really impossible to edge gaurd them also a very hard match that can take 2 minutes on DL64 or 7 minutes on PS.
