Yeah if you don't want to bring any that's fine, I just remembered you asked if my nes was close last time, so I thought of bringing my handheld one ( though it sucks with the a and b button being reversed.)

Just so everyone can get more sleep:

Doors are gonna open tomorrow at 11
Registration starts at 11:30, with Pools beginning at 12:30

That gives people, especially you out of staters, another hour to get up and get going

PLEASE BRING TVS AND SETUPS.

Can we start doubles in the middle of pools? I'm trying to leave asap.

Are you only playing Dubs?

I'm going to see the turn out before I make any decisions. I might do 64 instead of Brawl Pools since they were intended to be Bo1 and for seeding purposes only depending on setups available.

Sorry to be vague, but it'll kinda be a wait and see what we can do scenario :(

Is it even possible to start doubles during pools? Pools usually takes all the setups. It would probably work better to just start doubles first, and start pools after the bracket is far enough along. At least it works better that way if the goal is to have doubles done quickly.

Pools isnt even worth it. The one game rule (which I assume is still going to be used) makes it a joke and skews bracket more than if you were to just seed based on what you thought about skill anyway.

I can't do it by skill because of circuit rules

It has to be random. It's not my fault if people don't try in pools.

I'll bring my Paper Walls CD to remind everyone about the yellowcards ;)

As long as it's confirmed, thats all I need. I didn't want to practice ssb64 for nothing and I was a bit worried about there being 3 different games at 1 tournament, especially since we're starting at 11.

Late announcement, I know, but...

I couldn't actually attend because of weekend work hours, but I live in KC and can still offer spatious housing if anyone would prefer to crash for the night like Nebraska/Iowa did last BTEH.

I get off work at 6 and may drive to Lawrence to get some friendlies in tonight. In case I don't decide to come but you'd still like to take me up on this housing offer, call me (913) nine ate o four too double-o

Nah, I can't stay up that late; I work on sundays too. I'm driving to Lawrence.

Cute one-person twitter feed.
