All Brawl Files thread, click on the Mediafire folder, then all the songs are in the strm folder. However, to replace a song in-game, just rename the BRSTM you want in-game to the right value (A01 for the Ground Theme on Super Mario Bros 1-1 level, for example)

I would just like to remind or explain a little about the "loop type" (when submitting to brawlcustommusic.com).

I have often wondered whether people often get confused about custom vs normal looping. That is, I've wondered whether people think that if for example, you take, for example, a song from Super Mario 64 which originally loops constantly, but add custom loop points, that people think that's a custom loop. Although the loop points are customised, the loop itself is a "normal" loop. And that a custom loop would be for example, if you looped a normally non-looping song, for example, if you go to brawlcustommusic.com and go to Yoshi's Story and select "Ending Story (Looped)", THIS is a custom loop. Or a better example on what custom looping is, would be anything from the "Other" section:

The majority of those are real songs that I have created custom loops for. This can be as simple as simply finding parts of a song that go into each other, for example, if part of the intro is repeated near the end, but can be as complicated as pasting parts, overlapping areas and other weird things.

Remember:
Normal Looping -- If the ORIGINAL song loops (i.e. when you play the actual game, does the song continuously play, or does it end?), then it's normal looping.

Custom Looping -- If the ORIGINAL song does NOT loop (i.e. it fades out, or just ends, like ... normal songs, or victory themes, or some title themes, etc), but you have made it loop continuously by editing it, in Audacity, then it's Custom Looping.

Also, note that "E to S" (or End to Start), is like custom looping, but applies ONLY if the BRSTM loops from the very very end to the very beginning (at sample #0)

I'm very very very very very very very very slowly downloading a so-called Game rip of Faces of Evil (as in that crappy game that is only popular because of Youtube Poops <_<). By very very... slowly, I mean it's downloading in a way where it SAYS 34 seconds remaining - 53.0 of 72.1 MB (706 kB/sec), but it seems to actually download for half a second, then just stops for 10 seconds, so 34 seconds, it actually more like 5 minutes. (The reason is called rapidshare).

If it's a good quality MP3-converted rip, expect the ... expected (BRSTMs).

EDIT: Well that sucks. Is the quality of CD-i music that bad?

Exactly, your Hotel Mario ones are OK. They're not stereo (as they probably weren't in the game), but at least the sound is centered (i.e. coming from both sides). As I said, at least YOURS weren't. The Faces of Evil soundtrack I have has horrible quality with 3 of them coming from just one side. Those 3 tracks can be found here:

Alright so I realize Nujabes Peaceland was done recently but I had already done these just never got around to posting and besides I checked the current one on the to do list and it wasn't looped at all. Also the two versions; its the same song I just increased the volume to 105db just because I placed it on Rainbow Cruise and it has that Melee volume issue. I don't know if you still wanna post it up or not by I'll leave that option to whoever ends up doing the update.

Is Moosehunter's site a simple copy and paste for the upload process? Might do that but I'm still thinking whether or not I wanna redo some of my older BRSTMs

Just wondering, what source did you use for the Street Fighter IV music? Reason is, I cannot for the life of me find a good source, so I'm hankering to buy myself the album, the music is just too good. If I do, no doubt it would be sheer obligation to bstrm it for everyone. (Anyone else call dibs?) If that were the case, unless your source IS the album, these would be of higher quality. Just a forewarning I guess.

As for moosehunter's site, it's almost as simple as copypaste. After multiselecting your songs, the filenames are used as song names. If they aren't clean filenames, then you'll have to manually reinput them; however, you can autocopy game names across the board. You also have to select loop type for each song. But, that's pretty much it. It's hardly a hassle.

Pretty simple really. If you have like 15 BRSTMs for one game. Simply select those 15 songs when you upload, then just for the first one, select the game it's for, and then click "Copy Game Name To All Below Songs". It's also pretty quick (much quicker than mediafire, for example). At least for me it is. I can upload about 5 MB in 40 seconds or so, but on medafire it'd probably take 1 - 2 minutes.

I don't know. It sounds alright to me. And you might want to try redoing the dead rising ending theme. The one you uploaded didn't loop properly.

Ok, so I went to the Brawl Music site and tried to upload some songs today... and the website just keeps eating them. I must have uploaded about 4 or 5 songs that, after being put on the "Pending" list, just disappeared. Every time I try to re-upload, the same thing happens; it uploads fine, I play the preview and get no problems, then BAM... song disappears.

WTF. I have like 30 songs I want to batch add, and this is really making me NOT want to.

You songs weren't looped properly. Simply fix the loops and they should get through.

...yes they were. I'm a MAJOR audiophile; I can't stand game songs without good loops. Every song I have in Brawl is properly looped, I assure you. Especially the ones I added to test out the site. I spend anywhere between 30 minutes to 2 hours on EACH of my game's songs.

...your system must be broken if it thinks my BRSTMs aren't looped right.
