Hi guys!
falcon really doesn't have many good matchups, however this match-up is still winnable with a skilled falcon. Just extremely hard and time consuming. I wouldn't mine this being 70-30. While Marth can outspace, there isn't anything truly ground breaking about this match-up (i.e, character doesn't have an infinite chaingrab, or guaranteed death, etc.)

I still vote 75-25, specially due to what Darxmarth said. However, we can gimp him easily (or almost easily), so it's not THAT bad. If we can get him off-stage, we have a better fight ahead of us.
It's still a very steep battle for Falcon, though.

you will either eat an f-air and he'll sill recover perfectly
or you'll eat the beginnin of dolphin slash which has the initial 5 of 6 frames of invincibility.
and even if it works once it will not work again.
just saying bro, falcon vs marth is 80-20.

but that doesn't mean attempting to gimping is the best option.
he responds to gimps in a similar fasion to MK. and cause of that it is not worth it, which is what me and P3 have been saying all along.
if you try to gimp him, you're gonna get ****ed
not as hard as youd get ****ed against gimping MK, but in a similar lower grade way
you need to blast Marth so far, he's ko'd, or so far up that he's a star.

I don't really know why am I arguing lol. The only marth mains I played aren't really that good, so I gimped them easily.
Since P3 is a Marth main he would know... Alright whatever, 80-20 or 70-30, depends on the skill of the Marth player.

P3 I think you're forgetting that PS'ing gives you no lag whatsoever.

and because of its strict lack of versatility i would say it isn't a good moves cause marth has better options.

and you can't break him. on the ground, in the air.
falcon cannot do anything without risking an f-air in almost every situation, and even more in other situations. marth gets your damage up high, and its not hard for him to get you offstage and gaurd the ledge.
