I've also had more consistency double missiling with Y, but still mostly use X

But for everything else I use X



My friend started catching on to my platform waveland -> bair/nair/fair =\
was good while it lasted
gonna have to change it up now.

actually what i was going to say i liked doing was dropping though/wavelanding off either of the side platforms to a bair, but then i remembered that and i wondered if it actually worked for samus so i posted it anyways

actually i still wonder if that would work since, why would you drop through without fas falling? It makes sense that it wouldn't work though since it's still you dropping with an aerial *shrug*

Finally I think I'm getting the good mindset
I actually was able to lose a match, and still win, which was a problem for me mentally =\
so I'm happy about that
also I was able to fight the whole match and not pre-determine the outcome like I use to @.@
and the matches I lost were last stock first match, then the 2nd match I lost solidly, so I still have to improve my mindset cause I know I was playing worse in the 2nd matches.
idk if you guys have seen it but the thread i started really helped me mentally overcome some barriers I had up, mainly the lack of confidence, and juss focusing on the wrong things, this tourney i tried to play strictly in that match, against that stock, instead of that match, like play from a stock to stock thing instead of a match to match thing
idk i had a really bad mindset before
we'll see how i do at winterfest, i have much improvement to do if i expect to win!!

side note
juss ran out the timer of a match vs my buddy's marth
neither of us realized it since we weren't stalling or camping
that guy juss started shouting numbers FIVE, FOUR, THREE, TWO, ONE
and we were like wtf?!
he won by like 30%

I think a lot of it was me trying to SAFELY get down from above platforms vs. him (it was dreamland)
It's a ****in ***** to get back to the ground vs. a marth
Wavelands help a **** ton though

How proficient are you guys with powershielding?
was practicing juss now, prepping for winterfest, and didn't realize how good i was at powershielding falco's lasers (when I know they're coming), but I get like 7/8 out of ten on average, both running and standing still.
also was able to powershield her FCS (reflected) pretty easily as well
missiles are strange, more of practicing the dash attack to cancel them, which it seems is ineffective if the missile is high, but that's based on where you send it in the first place, unless you're fighting a samus.

idk what it is, but if I can ps falco's lasers i feel like i'm going to win that match, but if i can't, i feel like i'm going to lose
prolly in my head but i swear it helps
i'll juss have to PS all the time, baller status.

Ok why don't people Uair Land cancel thing from the ledge? I just started doing it last week and it works on every neutral stage but BF. If you do it fast enough you have invincibility frames while on the ground =). You'all should do it.

(Here's how:
1) Hang on teh ledge.
2) Press away from the ledge,
3) press towards the ledge (quickly mind you),
4) jump,
5) uair at the appropriate time (you should still be holding in)
6) Profit!!!!!)

I do it
practiced it last night to make sure I've got it down
it works, but I get too predictable while using it
I'll have to start changing my **** up because it's really fast

I'm also going to start using it to tech chase on platforms.
the timing is basically the same for if you were going to waveland

I do it too. It works very well for getting your enemy to gtfo his edgegaurd.

Also, for platform missile canceling, do you use the control stick or X/Y to jump?
