DISCOUNTS
Part 1: Televisions and systems.
Be one of the first 12 people to bring a FULL SET UP (television and system) and you will not be charged a venue fee AND 5 dollars will be taken off of your singles entry, making your discount a total of $10. Note: this will reduce your singles entry from $15 to $10 (just for clarification with these discounts entering every event will only be 25 dollars).
BY BRINGING A SYSTEM OR TV YOU AUTOMATICALLY AGREE FOR THE EQUIPMENT TO BE THERE OVER NIGHT AND/OR FOR THE TOURNAMENT TO USE THE EQUIPMENT FOR BOTH DAYS. But if you insist you must take your system and/or tv home and you do not bring it back the following day you WILL NOT be playing in the tournament, you are disqualified and you have just donated, no exceptions. I'm not giving out discounts for set ups used 1 day of the tournament.
Part 2: Partial Set Up
$2 off the venue fee if you bring a tv or system that is being used
Part 3: FANS
First 7 people to bring fans 12inches in diameter or larger for the tournament to use for BOTH DAYS will not be charged a venue fee. It gets hot in that room so I felt it was necessary to reward people who wanted to help that aspect.
Prize/Placement Cash
Singles payout:
1st 50% of pot
2nd 25% of pot
3rd 15% of pot
4th 10% of pot
5th payout depending on amount of entrants
Doubles payout:
1st 60% of pot
2nd 30% of pot
3rd 10% of pot
Crews Payout:
1st: the rest of the pot.
2nd: $25 (entry fee returned)

Day One:
8:00am- doors open - begin setting up
IF YOU HAVE SET UPS COME NO LATER THAN 8:30
9:00am- in line after this time you will be charged a late fee.
10:00am- doubles bracket begins
6:00pm- singles pools begin
9:30pm- clean up
10:00pm- get out
Day Two:
9:00am- singles pools continues (singles bracket will begin 20minutes after pools is complete)
3:00pm- crews begins
9:00pm- clean up
10:00pm- get out and maybe denney’s? haha

The Obvious:

-8 minute time limit
-2 out of 3 sets, first player to two wins advances.
-losers/winners semi finals, winners/losers finals and grand finals are best of 5 matches. (3 out of 5)
-Double Elimination

-Ties broken by
A. By whoever has more stock wins
B. Whoever has lower percent wins
C. If they both are at the same percent same stock then the sudden death is played out.
-STRIKEOUT METHOD FOR FIRST MATCH!
A. Characters are decided
B. The players play rock-paper-scissors. Winner decides order.
C. The order is 1-2-1 on striking out stages.
-Winner set your ONE stage ban AFTER your first match is played.
-Loser counter pick procedure.
A. Loser chooses stage.
B. Winner chooses character.
C. Loser chooses character.
-Dave’s Stupid Rule (canNOT counter pick a stage you have won on in the same set).
-Wobbling and freeze glitch is banned
-all forms of excessive stalling are banned (example: mewtwo soul stunner, peach bomber, jigglypuff’s rising pound, etc.)
Crews RULES
-single elimination
-20 stock
-4 or 5 players per team
-4 players = 5 stock per player, 5 players = 4 stock per player
-each crew must elect a captain
-before each set the crew must submit a roster with each players character to opposing captain
-time limit off
-items off
-only neutral stages allowed, including when you counterpick stages
-first match of the crew battle is double blind
-after the first match each match stage selection is random, UNLESS the fresh player decides to counterpick a stage, then the previous winner may change their character.
