We can add a Melee pool if that will ever attract you. And I'm definitely up for that. I think Melee deserves a bigger place in our community. But yeah, even if you can't come, it's nice if you answer or anything.

We played NTSC Brawl+ today, it was a lot of fun too. We can also do a Brawl+ pool next time.

Yeah Ive playing melee and brawl+ lately, but I still suck so bad at melee its not even funny, its hard to learn. Maybe one day Ill be any good at it

Dado que o número de pessoas que aparecem nos bi-weeklies não são consistentes nem grandes o suficiente, não iremos usar os resultados directamente para calcular os power rankings. Em vez disso, vou aplicar o sistema usado em muitos ladders de jogos e em xadrez, ELO rating system.

A vantagem é que as pessoas que aparecem menos podem recuperar mais rapidamente nos rankings se derrotarem pessoas com muitos mais pontos que eles.

Vou tratar de arranjar e aplicar a fórmula.

Começamos todos com 1000 pontos.

Nova Pontuação = Antiga Pontuação + K (constante, neste caso será 50) * (Resultados obtidos - Resultados esperados)

Resultado esperado = Pontuação Jogador /(Pontuação Jogador + Pontuação Adversário)

Ok, agora é so meter isto no Excel.

Tenho de encontrar uma maneira melhor de calcular a pontuação. De qualquer maneira aqui estão os rankings com os 2 biweeklies que já foram feitos:

1º- King Funk (1301)
2º- Flayl (1071)
3º- GSM (983)
4º- BigLord (975)
5º- Golden Ike (938)
6º- LuigiPT (875)
7º- Blue Lightning (857)

Como podem ver os rankings não são lá muito justos para Golden Ike e Blue Lightning.

Nobody is going to do that, lol. At least I hope not, these scores are pretty much irrelevant, you don't win anything for having a better score.

People come to the biweeklies to play people offline and get better, not for their score.

@Muro: That's not how Elo ratings work. People with 0 victories and a large number of games should obviously have less points than people with 0 victories with less games.
