Richdog, you seem to be a Sonic fan. Mind telling me where you got that Green texture, and if you know of any similar Super Sonic textures that have that shiny finish to them and are of good quality?

(er, sorry for the off-topic, forgot what thread I was in O_o )

Ridley stage looks weird. I'm also curious as to whether or not that Falcon Flyer is oversized, and if it's got normal boundaries.

i tried the falcon flyer and i think the boundaries are fine.
I'm not completely sure

Nice Falcon Flyer! Works great.

Also, whoever edited the Falcon Realm with the smile and the little Falcon flying around is amazing. I am using both versions.

Excuse me but i've made a replace waiting room level as well. This is actually the result screen (Sorry 'bout the texture) but Pokemon Trainer annoys me. When he enters, he stays like this in the air.


EDIT:

This as well, (Don't know if anyone replaced this one over waiting room yet).

Anyone know how i can fix this?

I was trying to make like one of those virtual stages or however you should say it but some parts of the backround sorta messes it up by force.

Does anyone know exactly how to get items to work on SSE stages?
Or if I can alter a normal one to spawn items.

I loaded the SSE Grasslands stage onto SD and it worked, although the background is terrible. lol SSE. Also, Snadbag is still there (need an adjustment to GCT code to remove him)
It also froze (no beep, just didn't load the results screen) when I quit the match. I was playing as D3 vs an Ivysaur. may have been a conflict with Sandbag as I'd chucked him off the map, not sure.
Yup. The BG can't be helped. I'm not sure why it froze for you. In my 20+ hours of testing, it was working perfectly, with items spawning and all. It might have to do with Sandbag so use a code that turns him into a dollar bill or something.

Hey, does anyone have a fix for the Canyon stage, because the two versions on this thread can't spawn normal items.

One only spawns Sandbags, the other can't spawn any items at all.

Probably have a conflicting code somewhere. What else do you have on? I had to turn Balanced Brawl off for it to work.

I'm trying to swap Luigi's Mansion's background with that of Bowser's Castle Seige (both files will be linked to) but apparently, I'm doing it wrong.

I swapped the model data, added the texture data and swapped the Scene Data with that of Norfair's, and replaced the camera with that of Luigi's Mansion (like it was to begin with). FREEZE CITY o.o

Can someone help put me on the path of righteousness? :D

The link to Eternal Yoshi's Shadow Bug E stage seems to lead to an alternate download of his Shadow Bug C stage, which was a bit disappointing.

EDIT: Perhaps this has been fixed. I have it now.

Also, I wish he would edit the Jungle stage. I tried out Brawl+'s edited Jungle stage, and the boundaries are still pretty large. It is pretty cool how their's replaces Temple, however.

2.1a won't work with any of these stages, it will freeze upon selecting the stage that is replaced. You have to use 3.5.1.

Mit, honestly, I think the boundaries are pretty fair. The ceiling is perfect, the left and right side boundaries allow enough room to recover but you can still be edgeguarded well like on FD. If anything, I would say the boundaries are well between the size of Final Destination's boundaries and Battlefield's boundaries. And trust me, you're not gonna get much better than that.

Yeh as Falco400 said you need 3.5.1. Always update to the latest FPC. No excuses.

You also have a few dated codes in there. There's an updated (v2.1) of
CSS fixes for Samus/ZSS and Zelda/Shiek V2 [spunit262]

You also don't need
ZSS and Sheik in Random [spunit262]
because the custom random gives you full control of randoms anyways.

What does custom ruleset do? I'm interested in expanding my current codeset too.

The ceiling seems okay, but with such a wide stage, and platforms extending past the ledges, it seems like the horizontal boundaries should be a little closer. Something a little more similar to Smashville's, where if you get launched horizontally off the platform that's past the ledge, there should be a high probability that you die. Although, I'd say the boundaries could even be a bit smaller than Smashville's still, due to how wide the stage is. It seems like the edges should be very dangerous seeing as it's very easy to fight in the middle of the stage without coming close to the edges.

oh yah? i tried just tried that and still got the same results.

it must be something else becuase i am still getting the death screech from choosing the stage. and i also just tried using only the alternate stage loader and 3.5.1 and it still does it. so the problem has to be in the alternate stage loader code.

^Your button activated stages are wrong. Your have 4 stages, but you have it listed as A instead of 4.


Also, is there an animated Ridley Destination up for download?

Try this one, I've added A button to your codes (b+a, x+a...), and modified the code to work with STGONLINETRAINING, as rumble falls isn't the stage you are trying to modify

That reminds me, we can now use BrawlWall to fix all those SSE stages that had wrong platform types but good designs o_o The first two that come to mind are that one forest level and one of the subspace levels, both of which had bottom platforms with ungrabbable edges. Combine that with editing the death boundaries that were frequently too big, and we just gained a ton of new playable stages.

As for what I was just about to ask before I noticed NAMQ's post, does anyone know where I can download this version of the Captain Falcon stage? The only download I found was for this version, which I don't want.

I demand that we add NAMQ's fixed SSE Stage to our Brawl+ legal stages, at least teams, if it tests out well enough.

Same goes for every other SSE stage that has an unique design, and can be fixed. NONE of those stupid flat SSE stages. One is enough god ****ed FD.
