Thank you! I've been doing stuff when it comes to digital art recently. While I've been doing avatar-sized pictures for most of the time (like the Dedede image I posted), I plan on branching out into full-fledged digital artworks sometime in the future.
One of my favorite aspects of Dedede. For me, liking a character mainly comes from their animations; from the awesome bad***ery that is Mewtwo to the complete sillyness that is Dedede, I want to feel that rush of excitement whenever I see the character's animation for a move, taunt, crouch, etc. For instance, that's why Sheik is really boring to me, her moveset and animations are just unappealing and bland in my opinion.Has anyone ever thought that some of Dedede's animations are quite hilarious? His paralysis animation sure looks funny at spots.

Get yourself a pocket Pikachu, it makes life a whole lot easier.

Really considering quitting comp smash in general because of this. If I can't main Dedede and not be held back by my character, I don't wanna play at all.
He struggled against other matchups in Brawl as well, but he did extremely well against others ( making him a popular pocket character ). Of course he'd still struggle here and there but if he's at least given some upgrade to his tools to work as what he is designed to be ( A slow zoner punish character ) then i could see more use for him against other matchups.

To me his down throw change from Brawl isn't that big of a deal especially since he can still rack up damage with his new one, it's a nerf yes but a fair one like the nerf to his u tilt in my eyes.

Sorry but I completely disagree. Frame 3 Nair wouldn't just not change much, it'd barely scratch our issues at all. Even compared to solely other heavies - our frame data and especially hitboxes are horrendous. I say hitboxes because a Frame 3 Nair would still be...Nair. As in literally once of the worst hitboxes in the game, when compared to D3's hurtbox - which actually overlaps the hitbox at points. A frame 3 Nair would honestly just be fair for a character with an enormous hitbox, the fastest fall speed of the heavies, but the worst airspeed. We get combo'd harder than anyone else in the game, please halp
Best vertical survivability doesn't do all that much when you're combo'd harder than anyone else in the game. But I agree, a F3 aerial wouldn't be the best of buffs for D3. However even a functioning Utilt + Gordos harder to reflect wouldn't fix his issues. The penguin can't play keepaway AND gets wrecked up close, that's what happens with hitboxes and overall ground/air frame data this bad. First we need things like Jab not being unsafe on hit, Dtilt actually having a close-range hitbox, etc - then we're just getting started lolI just wouldn't see why would DDD be benefited with a Combo Breaker (that's what F3 aerials are for) being the character with the best vertical survivability in the game.
imo, give him more utility moves, like a functioning anti-air Utilt, and/or make Gordos not being reflected so easily and he'd be good to go.
