New server for shoddy

Do you know how to get our SmashCAPs on there? That would be very helpful to our projects, as it won't be just ****in around anymore.

I'd also like to see the NU to OU be tested here.

If I remember, NU to OU should be easy, as its a very simple Modified datebase change. At least, it was easy on Netbattle. As for uploading our own pokemon, I'm not sure if that's any more difficult than a simple database change.

In case you didn't know though, in order for us to be able to connect onto the server whenever we want you have to constantly have the computer on with Shoddy open. I just thought I'd tell you in case you couldn't do that, because then it probably wouldn't be a smart idea to make the server.

Because I was making the server originally as a surprise for the PC, but with no stable internet connection and my only computer being my laptop (which I take everywhere with me and thus it's off quite a bit), I decided to not make the server as soon as I found this out.

...unless of course this has changed and that old post I saw about it (posted by DJD) is now false.

Setting up a server doesn't take long at all. I ran into issues because I was using a Mac for it, but it's not hard at all.

It's adding extra stuff that doesn't always go too well.
