clarification: if we want to add the wifi waiting room to the SSS (not over a custom slot), is there a module file that you have to have?

EDIT: also, whats the verdict on blank spaces? PW, does this code lose any functionality from spunit's original code?

EDITEDIT: does enable random expansion stages allow all expansion stages to be on random? if so, when the code is activated, can it be toggled off?

I am getting "Exception (DSI) occurred!" left and right
I've used all three of the Gecko OS 1.9 versions, .1, .2, and .3
And still nothing, not using Brawl+, nor Balanced Brawl, just running VBrawl
I use a gct containing the following codes

codes list.........
Have you surpassed 256 lines of code, and if so, do you have the gameconfig.txt file on the root of your SD card?

Without this file you cannot exceed 256 lines without crashing.

Could you give me a link with the gameconfig.txt, i couldn't find it. (I have to use it with GeckoOS1.7 ? Can I use it on GeckoOS1.9.2 ?)

It works fine for me with more than 256 lines of code, as long as you have the new Gecko, so presumably it should appear when you update your Gecko. At least, it did for me. Hmm....

And Dantarion, did you ever confirm that your Summit alternate loader Hex number is right? I've checked everything and I think for whatever reason your code just doesn't work with it. All the other stages work like a charm (well I haven't tested a few of them yet).

It does exceed the limit but I know about and have gameconfig.txt
But I think the problem was with the modifications I made to the custom sss code
Guessing there's no way to add the normally nonaccessable stages (WWR, TargetTest, etc.)

Amazing. Maybe one day, someone can get music working specifically for the inserted stages.
WHen I glanced at the Brawl OST, I noticed that V isn't used. Maybe we can mod a file to include more slots used exclusively for the inserted stages that have IDs like V01,V02,V03, etc.

Thanks for the stage insertion PW.

Works like a charm MK26!
The stage data section makes sense, but the organization of the brawl stages section and melee section don't.
Could you please explain?

Thanks Jocky. All my suspicions are correct and the SSS Guide v2 is coming soon.

default stages have the same order as before, but the WWR is added at the end of the Brawl screen and the 9 customs are added at the end of the Melee screen. The rows change by default.

Also, 75m is replaced by WWR on random select. Would you mind going to the random stage select, turning every stage except 75m off, going to a random stage 10 times, and telling me whether or not you get 75m?

A pleasure!, and the 75m definitely works Mk26!
But I was actually asking about row arrangements, do they correlate to the order in which the stage ids are placed?

75m in random reads out to be WWR each of the 10 times I've tested :]

Don't forget to include the replay icons!
Several usable ones that weren't on PW's list
Target Test 1-5 and Multi Man Brawl
And I see you've included one already(Menu and HRC) :]

Offtopic: You'd think somebody would have figured out how to load the other 4 target test stages to brawl on by now :/

well...it was less 'taking' and more 'posting some relevant, helpful codes that ended up shifting the focus of the thread away from that which was its original topic'

and if you really dont like it, ask a mod to give this thread to pw and make a new one :p

Its just hard for me to figure out what people are talking about now.
I am going to rework my code to use the last bit of the filenames instead of the first bit of the filenames.
This will allow for the code to detect MK 1-1 and 1-2 seperately, and also let it support PW's STGCUSTOM1.pac naming scheme.

I still need some clarification on PW's code.

Does it just plain load whatever .PAC you tell it to? No preset loading of things like soundtracks and other things from the levels they used to replace?

Is this why the soundtrack defaults to Battlefield's soundtrack?

And someone needs to get a code up for these stages that decreases some of their boundaries... Most of them are way too huge for competitive play.
