According to the leaker, it did

Where'd you hear it didn't?
Someone else had the Charizardite and it originally didn't say that it was the X or Y. It might have said it when in the bag, though. Maybe the person with the Venusaurite didn't check their bag afterwards?

It could still be a possibility. As much as I like Charizard, I don't want him getting more than the others.

I'm hoping for more Fairies as well. Otherwise it'll be Sylveon, because until I see Flabébé's potential evos, Im not that drawn to any other fairy types.

Pretty disappointed in Helioptile's evo. Like holy crap. It looks so unfinished!

However, Greninja is my ****ing jam, and IMO the best starter since Gen 4. So far I'm going:

Greninja
Zard X
Sylveon/Other fairy
Yanmega/Mienshao I can get it.
Gogoat
Tyrantrum/Doublade

I wonder, will there ever be a good Bug/Flying Pokémon?

I enjoy Aromatisse's concept. The beaked faces are inspired by plague doctor masks, while the aroma concept is based on the mixture of herbs and spices that said doctors would fill their masks with, hoping to ventilate sickness with.

Also, Slurpuff:

is secretly Quina Quen:

And I will be naming mine as such!

I won't be getting either of them. I'm just hoping there is another fairy type later in the game

I can't see your image, but I have seen Hawlucha's dual type attack

It counts as fighting but in it's description it says "Counts and fighting and flying"

I wonder if he only get's x1.5 STAB with it, since it's listed as fighting other than in the description or if he gets x3 STAB since he's both fighting and flying

I also wonder if someone NOT fighting had that attack would they get STAB? Since it's listed as fighting and only says counts as flying in the description

idk how it'll work, will it just average the type chart or something?

Flying as an attack:
Resisted by: Electric, Rock, Steel
Super Effective against: Bug, Grass, Fighting

Fighting as an attack:
Immune by: Ghost
Resisted by: Bug, Poison, Psychic, Flying, Fairy
Super Effective against: Normal, Rock, Steel, Ice, Dark

So would this attack be:
Immune by: Ghost
Resisted by: Electric, Poison, Psychic, Flying, Fairy
Super Effective against: Grass, Fighting, Normal, Ice, Dark

something like that makes sense, but the move will only get the STAB bonus from being fighitng

I'm more curious as to how it will effect certain dual types like toxicroak, scrafty, bisharp, and Aggron
ninja'd
Scrafty would probably be 4x
toxicroak 1x
Bisharp 2x
aggron 1x

Anyone have a good idea of what their in game team is gonna look like?

Based on what I've seen so far I'm rolling with:
Chesnaught (Grass/Fighting)
Talonflame (Fire/Flying)
Malamar (Dark/Psychic)
Doublade (Ghost/Steel)
Tyrantrum (Rock/Dragon)

All Kalos Pokes... No type overlaps... No Mega evolutions... Good offensive/defense coverage... All bad ***es.

All that's left is a Water type to complete my FWG core and be my designated Surfer. Still waiting to see what Skrelp's evolution looks like.

I'm getting both versions

I'm not sure who I'm going to get in either but I have an rough idea of pokemon I'd like to use

New Pokemon
Greninja
Chesnaught
Malamar
Doublade
Turantrum
Ice Sauropod Thing

Old Pokemon
Ampharos
Exploud
Vespiquen
Blastoise
Venusaur
Blaziken

I'd like to use Skrelp but I'm going to have a water pokemon in each version already

Like I said above, it's Greninja, Zard X and I against the world. I just WANT a few decent fairies to choose from. The designs for Slurpuff and Aromisse(?) just don't appeal to me at all. Hoping Flabébé's turns out good. If it HAS one.

I swear, the fairies that aren't Sylveon and Xerneas are like the Wormadam and Cherrim of Gen 6. Ugh.

Wish I could overlap, but my brain won't let me. I love Malamar's look.

This is my issue as well. Refusing to overlap has been a tradition of mine ever since I first got Pokemon Silver when I was little. My mom bought me a strategy guide along with it and I read that the most effective in game teams are those that diversify their typings. 5 generations later I still refuse to overlap. >.>

Which is a shame because I love Pangoro to death... But I love Chesnaught more. <3

I'm flipping a coin to decide if I'm using Chespin or Fennekin, and then the rest of my team will be unknown until I run into them.

I'm expecting my playthrough to go terribly.

Allow yourself to have fun with the game. Overlapping two Pokémon isn't excessive. Hell, you could pull a unanimous team if you wanted to. I find I enjoy Pokémon when I raise the creatures I'm the most fond of. Maybe you're fond of Pokémon for competitive reasons; that's perfectly valid and will serve you well in battle. I overlap sometimes when I just can't help but keep a Pokémon in-party, though the mind tends to favor one over the other for various reasons.

So, Mega Aerodactyl. I'm not as excited about it as I want to be. Oh well, I still appreciate that ol Dacky's getting some love after all these years.

That's...a Dragon? Well, I'm very interested in its potential evolutions. Which it's better have. Frickin' Fairy/Rock thing...and Binacle....

As a side note, I remembered Gardevoir got Fairy dual typing, and, realizing how great a type Psy/Fairy is, am now gonna use it. I always liked Gardevoir anyway.

I also decided I won't use Zard X, because my favorite Kanto starter has always been Venusaur, and I probably shouldn't abandon him just because Zard finally got the type I wanted. SO! My new team is potentially the following:

Greninja (Water/Dark)
Tyrantrum (Rock/Dragon)
Gardevoir (Psychic/ Fairy)
Talonflame (Fire/Flying)
Doublade (or whatever's potentially after it) (Ghost/ Steel)
MegaSaur (Grass/Poison)

There! No overlaps, and I get to use my faves. Sweet!

Is this our new 3 stage dragon that eventually turns into a pseudo legendary? o.0

EDIT: Apparently its caught at around level 30 which is around the same level Larvitar, Bagon, and the rest of the baby psuedo legends are caught...

I think this is our new psuedo legendary. I'm shocked. o.0

Did they reveal where they found Goomy? I'm inclined to be with TRG on it being this gen's pseudo, but I also know that, historically speaking, pseudos require doing something a little obscure in order to find them.

Talk about scary as ****. This is what Magmortar and Electivire should have looked like.

EDIT: Sorry about rotated image. I don't really know why that happened (the original image isn't rotated).

Holy **** Mega Abomasnow actually looks pretty bad ass... One of the better looking Megas for sure... And a deserving one (Abomasnow sucks other than the fact that it summons hail).

yeh dood where do you think i've been? aib?

edit: but seeing empoleon on that list of megas makes me excited. i was talking to xonar when drought charizard popped up that if they make alternative weather setters as megas, i really want mega empoleon to exist as the drizzle counterpart. it's the only water starter on that list. maybe my offhand prediction actually is legit?

I'm really curious as to where you got this list of Mega evolutions.

The leaks are hyping me so much, I don't get what's with the hate for Greninja. He's my boy. Goomy, btw. I love him.
