It seems to me that you don't know the definition of insult but that aside. You have no place to make any accusations like that when you were not even there to see the fight. It was just for fun and he knows I don't play Game and Watch seriously. I would agree that it would be bragging if I played Game and Watch seriously but I was just joking around (JUST LIKE THE MATCH WAS) and if you are too thick headed to see that then I am wasting my time.

ok, first of all, if game and watch was ur main, theres no point bragging, but if u just pick some random crappy character and beat the crap out of someone, then thats bragging about how u can beat people (brad) with characters u dunno how to use. (which pretty much shows how much better or how easy it is to beat that person)

this has nothing to do with me being there to watch the match, but even if u were joking, why would brad have to defend him self? if it was just a joke, he wouldnt need to be defensive about u saying that u were "owning" him with game and watch.

I think the part you are missing is that I was astounded at my good use of Game and Watch and I am sure that Brad was surprised as well... In fact there was a good chance he would have won that match. But of course you don't understand joking remarks and Brad I did not mean it to make it sound like you are bad, I meant it in a joking sense... BUT Obviously there are some of us... who believe it is their place, to stick their fat heads into places where they are not wanted.

A couple of weeks ago at the Bi-Weeklie was the first time I met any of them... and quite frankly, I can say I am glad you were not there to save from ruining the experience I had... Although there are no johns, those vids were on the HDTV, which I cannot play my best on.

Making the transition from normal to HD in less than a minute is awkward. I flub many things which I would never, miss SHL's (or they'd be too high), and roll 50% more than I normally would.

In other words, it can be a lot better.

If he's gonna be Calgary's best, he's gotta represent, ya know? And I'm pretty sure he'll "stand a chance".

I am not Calgary's best. Maybe I can represent GameFAQs seeing as how I've stuck with GameFAQs since SSBM came out (I learned everything there), and the only reason I registered here was for the bi-weekly topics.

That's some horrible spelling of my name. I always thought that it was bad enough when someone spelt my name 'xspiritflare'. But, this takes it to the next level ... or possibly two levels.

Well no I'm not necessarily saying that I would have my money on John either. Edmonton is known for having some of the best players in Canada for a reason. What I'm saying is that, maybe, if given good odds, I would have money on John. To be honest, I think John is miles ahead of anyone else in Calgary. So far ahead that you can't really compare him other Calgary smashers. So, until you play him, don't be so quick to judge what all of Calgary has to offer.

John, if you are reading this, know that you now have an obligation to goto the next Edmonton tourney

I wouldn't have money on me either. I'm definitely ahead of the majority of Calgary though.

right now we're looking at Mich, he's the only calgary player who can really beat john.

yes i have beat john, but john can be me anytime he'd like, he knows exactly how.

The only reason why Mich has the better of me is because of my inexperience to Ice Climbers. I'm still learning strategies to use against them.

Seems as though many people would like me to go to the Edmonton tourney, or at least play someone from Edmonton (other than Sid). May 5th was it? Saturday's won't be good for me by then, but I'll try to find a way to work around that.

I've played Nick (Nintensity) quite a long time ago, he consistently beat me. He's from Vancouver I believe.

except sid's playing style is a bit different, he doesnt use any wavedashing.

Tyson... Have you looked at any of my matches yet... It might help you to make some better comparisons if you know both our playing styles.

ya, i did watch ur vid against nitro's marth, but i was just saying sid's playing style is different in general compared to everyone.

it doesnt seem like u use wavedashing in ur game, but u do use it when nitro is dead. i think trial and error with wavedashing and some dash dancing would help ur game a lot, it could make u a lot crappy in the beginning, but thats what trial and error is all about. after getting a feel of it, incorperating it into ur game, i think, it would help u a lot.

unless, u just dont like using it. lol.
