Played a little Project: M with CubaIsDeath today. Ganon is so awesome in PM. His fair has purple fire and his bair has lightning on it. Giving Ganon jab, stomp and bair for lightning moves which I figure is most in the game. I can't really play Falcon in P:M he feels really weird, all clunky like bowser.

The main thing that annoys me about it is because it's still brawl you can only use one trigger at a time. I can't WD OoS. It didn't matter last time because I had mental block against WD OoS but now that I spam it uuggghhh how do you play without it

Really? I dont remember having that issue in my old alpha plays of P:M.... Maybe it was before i was really obsessed with wd oos.

I kept getting stuck under stages.
Your recovery movement would slide you forward before activating, at least in the early game, so I would consistently get stuck under the stages and die -_-
I played a guy at Pound V, decent D3 player, but we really only had 1 stock matches, because of that.

Not sure what's going on with the porn but it's kinda sad to see these guys looking to get banned just because they quit.

@Wenbobular, no copping out man. I know how you feel. It's cause we're asian so we wanna be all technical and play fox.

When I was in high school, I wanted to just pursuit some corporate career that yielded good income and wear a suit everyday as I climb some business ladder. But a deep part of me didn't care about any of that **** and just wanted to play the saxophone and become a jazz musician.

You gotta embrace that inner self and just play falcon/the saxophone! Even if playing the saxophone means you'll get lasered often and tech chased by some needle throwing ***.

Fox represents the evils of the corporate world. Falcon all day! through the good and the bad.

tl;dr don't quit the saxophone wenbobular

@project M:

I hate project M, I wish I didn't hate it. A part of me wishes that it was good so I can actually play it. Playing project M ****s up my timings in melee so badly.

Lol that's really your only option
Pikachu ***** you. Never get under him, his uair will eat your stock so fast.

Also, you have a guaranteed [maybe?] dthrow->knee around 70%
You can CG at low percents, like Marth/Sheik

Basically play it like the Marth MU and you'll get basically what you paid for

@Windrose - I sometimes feel as though Falcon is actually my cop-out character because I'm more consistent with him and people are better vs Fox, but I enjoy playing Fox more on a good day

The demo sucks balls. The newest builds a lot closer to melee. Like, A LOT. Magus fixed everything.
Show some recent videos? Is this latest version available to the public?

i don't know the matchup

to compensate i play super defensive and nair
You mentioned awhile back that there's one style that beats this style. Is it just being out camped? I ask because I play gay and defensively with lots of heavily spaced nairs and am wondering what the weakness is.

ur "weakness" is usually something not so simple. It could be a major flaw or multiple small flaws that all together build up

if you show me vids... i could critique.. :reverse:

and to actually answer your question, on paper nairs should beat a lot of styles, but there is one way that can beat it easily which i don't want to spread around so people don't **** me lol

Now I'm curious
All Winston does is walk up to me and Upsmash with Fox when I'm doing pivot Nairs -_-
Seeing as how I'm not going forward he just gets to Upsmash my toes
But they need pretty good reflexes if you refuse to Nair and just dashdance

EDIT: @^ All falco players should just lay down their arms. Guns don't do anything but start trouble. Peace man...

I don't have a dazzle, i'm trying to get videos of me recorded but there aren't any currently available. lol...
I pretty much know my flaws right now and know what I need to work on. I don't think I'll have any videos to bring to the table of myself for awhile. There are quite a few good players in my region (raynex, unknown, kirbykaze, IB, etc.) that oversees the growth of Toronto.

This one style that beats you, does it really hard counter you sooo badly? That seems like quite a huge problem... surely you have a way around it...

Kels usually crouch cancels first hit of Falcon's nair and then shines. What a bully.
gotta get those grabs and backairs

nair does near nothing to kelly

EDIT: i wanna play all you falcons that go to genesis. starting with scar and s2j

I play some Fox/Falco's that do the same thing. It is so annoying, it made me replace like 50% of my nairs with knees. If they are gonna try to pull that CC BS I'm getting a knee and probably a grab.

falcon's first nair has set knock back. CC is 2-e-z

Also, in the air you can smash DI that **** up to avoid the pain. This tho, is e-z-er said than done

I've definitely had a Fox CC a Knee at low percents and get an Usmash off. And once you're above Fox. . . . .

Kels is quite good, played him a bunch at Pound 5, we'd have a good set if we played (i'd pwn tho)

if you space nair correctly though he can't really punish you for first hit even if he crouch cancels

and the 1 style i'm referring to is a fox style, it doesn't outright **** me but i can't n-air my way to victory easily

falco can do whatever he wants to win and even if they are way worse than me I still struggle to **** if they are very abusive

if you get the knee at super low % and they CC it

maybe you can bait a shine/usmash/anything with a DD or something rather than go for the grab right away, then punish.

man i love it when i beat spacies in tournament
