ooh that cements my decision to rewatch in IMAX
so yea tonight i saw Michael Macdonald/Boz Scaggs live and then i caught the midnight showing of Transformers 2
:D too bad it was almost (ALMOST) ruined by some old fool who said "and socialism rings true....crap" when macdonald was saying music is the best universal health care >_>
and yes, like i suspected, transformers 2 is a terrible TERRIBLE movie XD but its SO worth it just for the action scenes

What killed it for me was the music video transition from "lonely sad megan fox" to "Gay trance club frat house party"
What saved it for me was the woods fight
What killed it for me again was the HORRIBLY RACIAL JARJAR-like twins
What saved it for me was Bumble bee vs the two Deceptacons in egypt
What killed it for me finally was Linkin Park + Shia and Rain Wilsons ending scene during the credits...
What killed it AGAIN was Transformer heaven...no comment

Micheal Bay needs to only be used as an Action scene supervisor, or better yet, a music video director. Why so many swooping camera angles with bright lights in the background?
You know why Micheal Bay made the doomsday device have the potential to destroy the sun? because thats his worse nightmare-no sun means no overuse of lenseflare
Goddammit, im usually pretty docile but I went to that movie with the LOWEST expectations!!!

Animation, graphics, and action=superb. WHYYYYYYYYYYY waste so much money on micheal bay!!!!!!!!!!!!
I would recommend go see it stoned or something to laugh at it, BUT THREEEEEEEEEE ****ING HOURS!?!?!

-yea skids and mudflap were disgusting both design wise and personality (humor?) wise
-the vast majority of jetfire's lines were ******** even though i loved the voice acting (and im pretty **** certain he was never a decepticon. and he was a space shuttle but hey i f***ing love the SR-71 so no complaints here)
-i believe Bee was fighting rampage and ravage in egypt (ravage btw, being one of the "tapes" (read: minions) that serve Soundwave, who despite also having an awesome design and voice actor, was assigned to CONSTANTLY MAKING SWEET SWEET ROBUTT LOVE TO THAT FRAKKIN SATELLITE THE ENTIRE MOVIE)
-and yea i always stay after the credits no matter what, but i had to put on the headphones and Steely Dan to escape the linkin park >_>
-i think the one human scene i genuinely liked and thought was well acted was Shia's dad refusing to let him go. though the parachute scene was pretty funny
-though ill admit the transformer heaven part didnt bother me in the least. corny as hell but im fairly certain since the fallen and the seven original primes (i know there are other primes but im pretty sure it didnt work like that) were already made up and the scene looked/sounded really good i didnt mind so much
though the fallen definitely reminded me of fulgore from killer instinct everytime he was on screen >_>

so picking up from Boz Scaggs, i found out wolf trap is having not only the doobie brothers, video games live, and the movie music of john williams, but ive already missed a CCR show and an elvis costello show (godd4mn me) and scheduled for the future is the B-52s, Bill Cosby, The Temptations, BB King, Steve Miller Band, Crosby/Stills/Nash, Smokey Robinson, and Joe Cocker. and those are only the ones i like! im going to spend 200+ dollars on just lawn tickets >_>
