I now know what happens when a stage file cant find the stage position model.....Its lol but it bad.

I actually fixed up the camera and deadzone limits on Sector Z since they were horrifically skewed. I was killing off the top at around 200%+ all the time while horizontal kills were practically free. Now vertical kills are something around 140-160% and you can actually put some edgeguarding to use/recover.

The only thing keeping me from releasing

End of the World, Twilight Town, and Kingdom Hearts, is Kingdom Hearts because theres a small stage position problem Lol, Mewtwo's taking a look at Kingdom Hearts

But if people really want end of the world and Twilight Town Ill release it, but I prefer to release all 3 at once

Um id like alot of stages in this thread sooooo... what tools do you guys use
For making or what? BrawlBox is pretty much the thing for a lot of hacking and stage hacks are included under this (although some prefer BrawlWall for collisions). From that, it's just good use of whatever materials and textures you got.

Could you post that? I would like it very much.
Oh yeah, hold on a minute.

Here it is. I also moved up the bottom camera limit and deadzone because characters down there would make the camera fall too far below the rear thrust (area behind the wing). Didn't get to test it though, but it should hopefully be good.

1) that stage does indeed seem bland without clouds

2) we already have a skyworld+.. its a code...
o.o FrozenHobo can you linkme to that code? oh and do you know where is teh tutorial for the stage freeze code, because i need to remove some frezes and put new ones.

oh and i can't remove the lava from teh background in norfair, i tryed to move in all axis and recize but it's looks that lava attack all stage at the same time, maybe it can be infinite...

This thread warrants some organization. Any chance of a thread being started to only showcase (without feed back). It would make it much easier to go through and grab favorite stages. Just saying :)

Hi guys, I'm still alive xD

I've been testing my new video recorder, so not much advance in stages really ^^U

Anyway, here's one of my test videos (horrible sound synchro, sorry -.-), it's featuring my upcoming "alive rayquaza's lake" stage, just watch it if interested anyway xD

nice, but would probably look better if you have him standing regularly somewhere under the water, and then have an animation so he comes out, does an attack, and then goes back.

Yeah, but I must keep Spear Pillar's rules, and the animations are only a few, controlled by the stage itself

I could try some things like making the dissapearing animation going underwater or something like that, or even moving rayquaza's stand bone through the stage, but I'm not sure it will be fine ^^U

oh, you're using SP as a base? i would think you'd use WWR...

edit: i just realized that would mean you wouldn't have the lasers...

Omg Starwaffle you must finish that stage! I have an awesome Idea for it Xd
I was working on it all day yesterday and it somehow corrupted.


I had to vertex hack the main bg so that the stage thing went up and fowards, it a lot of time to do and i dont want to do it again, i'll try extracting the mdl0 of the main bg and get a frech stage and re-do the brawl wall camera thing.

Thanks a lot Mewtwo for fixing up some of my stages ^^, the only thing is is that the 1st one you fixed (The Awakening) the stairs and everything are there bed the background of spear pillar is completely gone so theres just a black background O_o

This is happening if you use it as a wifi room replacement, in order have it working fine you should make it a final destination one

Anyway, I can make it to work fine for wifi room if you need it, you must know that the difference is that wifi room doesn't load modeldata[2], only modeldata[1] is loaded for it

It was going over Final Destination that was the first one I tried it out on, Ill check up on it to see if I maybe did something that might cause this, Ill let you know what I find out, and I almost forgot...

There's a tad problem with End of the World that I cant fix at the moment... there are 2 platforms from the original model that Take on the textures of the rock and they wont go away, Ill look to fixing this and release a version 2 anyways enjoy, Ill start working on my next batch of stages I have to finish

Quick question.

I'm still very new at this, and I'm getting the hang of it. (Made a crappy stage just for practice, but I'm not sure how well I did the collisions and I can't test them since my TV's broken. Also added grabbable ledges to Summit, since it bugged me to no end that there were none. Again, can't test it, so I'm assuming I did it right, but I'm not positive. But that's beside the point.) I got all the stage .pacs the other day, and going through them, I noticed that several of them had STG[stage name].pac as well as STG[stage name]_en.pac. When I open them up, they appear to be exactly the same. Is there a difference between them? My guess is that the "_en" indicates that any text on the stage is in English, since it occurs on stages such as Onett, PictoChat, and the Pokémon Stadium stages, among others , but I thought I'd just be sure before I went ahead and did anything to them.

EDIT: I suppose I'll release said crappy stage.

Yes, it's a Wii. It's my first stage, and I'll get better as I keep working on this. Credit to Mewtwo_2000 for testing and fixing it for me.

relating to the summit, i'd like to submit this for people annoyed with it:

~stage stays at initial place (not ideal, but if you try it without the code you'll see why it doesn't work
