Whenever the two combatants get close (they'll start at noon and reach each other by sunset) it comes down to a jab fight....of course MK could jab, but no one's ever seen MK do anything without a sword, and kirby does EVERYTHING without one...I think Kirby would win in the jab fight, despite MK's armor...

@Ussi- depends...does MK have the cape, or does he have wings....
it's unrealistic for his cape to turn into wings and vice-versa....

  • Alakazam can choose to Teleport into Trick Rooms instead of where he entered the match by pressing Up for the center Trick Room, and Left/Right for other TR's in relation to the center one/center stage.
|Fast, long-ranged and dazzling the foe with tricks, this team is definitely one that takes adjusting to for both players and opponents. Played best by constantly swapping who's playing to get the most out of catching bombs, swapping type, performing Super Smashes and the like, as well as constantly playing an offensive spacing war with the foe can easily make your head spin. If you are able to master this fast paced team however, you'll be rewarded with a high-octane team that can dominate the opposition. Just be careful or you'll end up being tossed around yourself!

TRIPLE FINISH

  • Z provides the team with Agility as Alakazam puts up Reflect, all 3 turtling up before launching a rapid-fire array of Beams, Blasts and Seeds! Each pokemon will be able to fire multiple instances of their projectiles, with Z firing the current projectile he has equipped, and Breloom alternating Bullet/Leech seeds between seed bombs, all while being able to angle them in a 180* arc with the control stick. After about 2 seconds, the volley will stop and things go back to normal, except you probably have a pretty massive lead in terms of %.

his wings while folded could resemble a cape, thats plausible.
Yeah but that's looks...I was just wanting to know whether he actually has wings or is he stuck with his actual cape(not that he could do much with the cape anyway, so I'll assume wings....)

Because if MK is stuck with his cape well I think the matchup is almost a stalemate....

but if MK has wings he can lift himself off the ground, but since he can't really
"jump" then it might just be that he'll tire out just getting off the ground before he moves anywhere, but if he does get off the ground and move then he has a major advantage now- but that's dependent on Meta's stamina...

Both Kirby and MK's body structure limits them a bunch...:( the wings could really make a difference...

So that brings up my killer question: How conditioned is meta knight? Could he muster enough strength to use just his wings to lift him off the ground and sustain flight for a long enough time to attack kirby?

AS far as i know, kirby has this python crunch in witch he swallows the enemy hole. So even if they cant wield weapons, kirby has the ability to "eat" the stuff around him(aka rocks/pointy stuff/pieces of wood) and throw it back at MK in, giving him the edge on the battle :D.

And before someone says this is inviable, there's a fish in the nature that is able to spit water/small rocks at moskitos/flies to knock them out and eat them, making the shooting stuff ability of kirby viable as he has such a huge mouth :D!

Wing attack? Fly then slam into Kirby? The spikes on MK's wings can pierce Kirby for damage too... I see this I MK's favor without weapons. Simply due to MK having more raw abilities.
Meta Knight has never done any combat without his sword, and his wings can only spin to make the Mach Tornado, which he can not do in this tourney.

  • Alakazam can catch Seed Bombs with Jab/Grab/Confusion, making them behave like his Spoon Traps, and allowing Breloom to toss another.
  • If an opponent is under the effects of Spore's poison, Bisharp's bleed damage will extend by 1/2 a second per hit instead of 1/4 second when applicable. If the opponent is paralyzed or slept by Spore, Bisharp's attacks will do 25-50% more KB respectively.
  • Bisharp can hit Alakazam's spoons like his Metal Claws, which makes them behave just like them until they return to Alakazam.
|High offense is the name of the game, with all three combo-powerhouses sharing the stage! Alakazam is a cornerstone here, adding both spoons and Seed Bombs as both traps to work foes around, as well as extra projectiles for Bisharp to space foes with. Good for players of any level, just be wary of how fast you may end up going down due to the teams either low weight, weakness to being comboed, and/or mediocre recovery options.
|
TRIPLE FINISH
|
  • Alakazam teleports the trio to the foe, and proceeds to grab and Upthrow the foe, causing them to levitate slowly upwards to the height of the top Battlefield platform. While this happens, Breloom and Bisharp both jump up and the player can button mash for the both of them to beat the crap out of the foe for about a second with A (Bisharp, on the left side) or B (Breloom, on the right). Once the second is up, Alakazam will teleport the foe and the last button pressed (A/B) determines who he takes with him and in what direction (Bisharp goes right, Breloom goes left) about a platform off the stage in said direction, or just a platform from the screen if there are no edges. When this occurs, you can buffer in the attack of your choice from either Breloom or Bisharp as if they were on the ground, making for a quick death by an off-stage Fsmash! Alakazam then teleports everyone (except the foe) back on-stage.

Meta knight lives by the code.
he will not fight with an edge over kirby He even gave kirby a sword to fight against him with just so the matchup is even.
If anything meta wont take the upper hand unless his oppenent either surpasses his prior assumption or he feels the fight has gone on long enough and ends it.

  • Alakazam can catch Seed Bombs with Jab/Grab/Confusion, making them behave like his Spoon Traps, and allowing Breloom to toss another.
  • Pyro Flow's hot air will ignite the Leech Seeds on a foe and cause them to be continuously burned for 8% a second for 3 seconds. During this time they cannot be Seeded again, and Fossilize will put out the fire.
|Alakazam shines here with his telekinetic abilities, moving Fossil and Bomb alike to alter the flow of combat. This can lead to either very defensive or offensive play with how you utilize the interactions, on top of Leech seed either healing or burning on a foe, Alakazam's grounded teleport comes in handy when you can swap in a Breloom spore to give you time to think, or as always swap with Armantle in case he gets pushed offstage to give him amazing longevity. If Alakazam goes down, you still then have the options between high offense or defense based on who you make playable, making for a good choice for players who like to switch up their game halfway through a match.
|
TRIPLE FINISH
|
  • Alakazam uses Dash Attack past the foe, grabbing them and re-appearing over Armantle and holding them in place like with Guillotine if they don't avoid that first part. After that, Breloom can be seen in front of Armantle as he opens his mouth wide, from ere you have about 2 seconds to mash buttons to "feed" Armantle seed bombs, each bomb he eats adding about 2% damage to what comes next. Once the two seconds are up, Alakazam teleports to safety, leaving the foe in the cross-hairs for eruption!

Squirtle - 1 foot, 8 inches in height, and 19.8 pounds in weight.

Pichu - 1 foot precisely in height, and 4.4 pounds in weight.

Squirtle has that advantage.... Squirtle also has a shell for defense.

Remember, pichu's electric powers ARE realistic, IRL there are creatures that use it, though it would function as a contact-based power unless EXTREMELY powerful (think train third rail) or underwater.

Pichu being that powerful would cause him to fry himself btw.

Hooray Pichu vs Squirtle....WITH NO ABILITIES! (for those that don't wish to read the op)

Well Squirtle obviously has better defenses, he has a shell
Pichu's got speed on the on squirtle though

None are really known for physical prowess, but squirtle could be creative and shell ram

I'm not sure what Pichu could do if squirtle retreated into his shell, but toss it...

These are just ideas off the top of my head...not making a decision yet...

Oh, but electricity for pichu is realistic...but...it'll kill itself shocking something... wow...

Not taking sides yet, but Pichu's ability to contain his power is not that great, and he has a tendency to hurt himself (atleast in Melee; not canonically so...). Pichu is a young Pokemon, being a baby evolution, and is newer to its abilities than a Squirtle is likely to be.

EDIT: If neither have their abilities (super natural, that is) than Pichu has nothing. Pichu has no claws, is smaller than Squirtle, is lighter than Squirtle, and is less shielded than Squirtle.

It's doubtful that it's electric sacs are well-enough developed to kill it or do serious damage. Hurting itself is not out of the question though.

Also, turtles commonly spit water, somewhat pressurized water isn't gonna be a problem, but it's not gonna be able to do damage except as a function of the enviroment, it'd be a distraction.

Squirtle's mobility is gonna be a major issue.

Thing is, lol, neither of their abilities are supernatural, they are LIMITED by realism, but unlike some other characters (just about everyone, but I'm especially looking at you two previous match-up), at least on the most basic level, they have access to their abilities.

Feraligatr is the star here as with Whirlpool, Dragon's Rain, Flooded Trick rooms and aerial water flows, it'll be amazing if the foe gains a foot of distance, let alone approach you. Combine that with Z and Gatr's natural artillery and Nasty Plot, and you have a camper's dream.

Right now, what can Pichu do w/out electricity? She has no claws and eety beety fingers. Atleast Squirtle can use his shell for something (yes, I'm voting Squirtle right now). Squirtle might also be able to garb Pichu with his mouth, and if not, he can still bite like a Snapping Turtle.

Im not including it because he has no insulation like the electric eel does, nor does pichu have a ton of "battery" muscles like they do to produce...effective amounts of electrical energy.

So its either he kills himself using it, or he produces too little to notice
Not necessarily, the "cheeks" themselves could easily be insulated, they're very obviously a different material then the rest of the body and they're established to be the location of his electric sacs.

As for battery muscles, again you seem to be assuming that, there's no real indication that he doesn't, the fact that he produces electricity suggests that he has the biological mechanisms required to produce it.

Wait, I'm confused. Are you trying to say that the electricity is usable (that is to say, dangerous as a weapon in this battle)?

Pikachu can use its mobility to its advantage...
turtles are slow creatures and this may be something that Pichu could use to it's advantage...

....still on the fence...

@joe- simple friction between two objects creates static...pichu's cheeks may just contain an enhanced mechanic of this which takes the simple *zap* that we sometimes experience in life, to a more powerful shock...how do you believe electric eels generate their electricity- it's not purely just inner working of the eels body, but also friction created between the eel and the surrounding water....(or air in some cases)

As, but as a contact power (he could potentially send it through squirtle's streams).

Im simply going off what I know in nature to be the only real electric wielding animal (electric eel).

It needs it's whole body to produce it's electrical energy to lethal levels, and they can be like 3-4ft average.

I dont see how a 1fr rodent, with 2 small sacs to produce electrity could produce anything truly damaging :(
Not suggesting it's THAT powerful, but enough to do damage is not unrealistic, especially considering that an electric eel's shocks are deadly to humans and squirtle has a lot less body mass.

Turtles are slow because they are heavy and made for protection. Squirtle's shell probably isn't very heavy, and he can stand on two legs, a reference to his balance and flexibility. Squirtle still beats out Pichu in defense, but he is not a normal turtle at all. Pichu's still faster, but IMO, Squirtle's faster than a typical turtle.

How is Pichu's going to deliver an electric charge? Eels have some kind of stinger, don't they? Maybe not. But do the currents of electricity jump from the sacks, or what? And what is the probability that Pichu will get hurt by her own attacks?

|Spacing is the name of the game, with Trick Rooms, Teleportation, and Metal flying about like it's going out of style. Well suited for a bait and punish type of playstyle, with some more "actiony" options available with Nasty Plot and Sharpen_App. the three should have no trouble moving about the stage and confounding foes with their various movement tools on both themselves and their projectiles.

turtles are slow because of their shells...they're like the tanks of nature...
Squirtle could easily fall under this category, because it can walk on too legs, doesn't make much of a testament to its mobility, it's shell still weighs it down, just like most other turtles...

Eels usually deliver a shock through just making contact kinda like almost a protective barrier of sorts?, they bite too...:)

Plus Pichu may experience some recoil, depending on the power of the shock...

Actually, biggest issue is the leg construction, Squirtle's legs are too broad to allow for efficent movement, they're actually more load-carrying (implying that squirtle is heavy for his construction) due to their broad and uniform overall construction. They won't be moving fast, and lack the fine movement control that feet have.

They're also weighed awkwardly due to their shells. Also, if it's too light, the shell will collapse meditatively, but regardless, it's awkward, slowing him down.

Two feet =/= an advantage, 2 feet means slower on average, it's a less efficient design.

How is Pichu's going to deliver an electric charge? Eels have some kind of stinger, don't they? Maybe not. But do the currents of electricity jump from the sacks, or what? And what is the probability that Pichu will get hurt by her own attacks?
Pichu, use headbut!

Also, streams of water if they hit pichu's cheek and are connected to squirtle.

It's possible, but that means that his electricity is more powerful cause it means he skipped on insultation evolutionarily for more power generation.

Hmmm... well then, the issue is electric shocks. :) Always a good thing to learn.

Pichu, use headbut!
How much strength can Pichu really put into that? She weighs less than five pounds, and how tough of a skull will Pichu have compared to Squirtle's?

if he skipped in insulation...he'd be hurting himself.....

o_O
Yes, but it's an evolutionary thing...
Pichu skipped insulation so that the shock wouldn't be nerfed by it...
yes Pichu hurts itself, but it's electricity is increased in potency because of it...

but...another problem with this is that Pichu is very bad at storing energy,
even if its cheeks can produce the energy for an electric shock, Pichu can't hold it for too long...and once it unleashes it....it unleashes it all...so Pichu would have to be very instantaneous about storing up electricity...and using it on Squirtle...

^it's because of this that I still stay on the fence...:)

EDIT: YES! 400th post! :)

if it doesnt have insulation, wouldnt it be killing istelf in order to build up the charge?
depends on when it starts and how long pichu tries to hold it in...

at the beginning of it's charge it may not hurt itself as it probably just experiences the same bio-electric pulses that happnes inside us....

As Pichu attempts to hold the charge longer, that's when it endangers itself...but as I said...Pichu is extremely bad at storing energy and cannot control it's output either...so it may expend it's stored electricity without wanting too at the wrong moment...it would have to be mighty quick in order to charge electricity and release it upon squirtle while dealing minimal damage to itself...

|
Alakazam then teleports everyone (except the foe) back on-stage.

well, this is the stupidest stalemate so far...

Sorry, couldn't help it, I'm pretty sure most people would know where that image is from. XP

Alright, Pichu and Squirtle, seeing how Pichu could kick Squirtle down on his back since Pichu is fast enough to pull it off. I'll give Pichu the win.

  • If a foe is Locked-On, Night Slash/Metal Claws/Sucker Punch/Faint Attack all will home in on the targeted foe automatically.
  • Bisharp can hit Alakazam's spoons like his Metal Claws, which makes them behave just like them until they return to Alakazam.
  • Alakazam can choose to Teleport into Trick Rooms instead of where he entered the match by pressing Up for the center Trick Room, and Left/Right for other TR's in relation to the center one/center stage.

You do raise a good point. Pokemon are use to combat so I'm sure it's strong enough, but yea, Squritle can rebound on time if it's knock at his back. I really haven't thought of what would Squirtle do.
