this might sound stupid but why dont u guys have a tourney that cost $1000 to enter n the winner of brawl n the winner of melee would be rich? and u could probably pay like the top 4-6 people
large pots are created by having small entry fees and lots of poeple. How do you get lots of poeple? You have an entry fees that the average player would pay for a good time playing smash. Without that tourneys couldn't happen. There would be something like pro money match series events only with less than 8 people

Flight prices are dropping like hotcakes.
Qantas has return for under $1200 now (QANTAS!), with their cheapest flights to America ranging from $900 return for some dates.
V Australia (Virgin) were offering $900 return flights up until 4 days ago if you travelled before 15th of June.
I'd say anyone going should be able to get flights for $1000 or less. It's a golden time to go to America.

ok first nado spam to rack up some damage get light weights to atleast 40% and the heavier ones to about 70% then keep d-smashing until you hit them off the stage and ****ING GIMP use the dair and b-up.

Here's my sob story.
Right now I pay my parents $75 p/w board. They'd recently dropped it from $150 p/w board because they wanted to help me get through Uni.
So then I drop this on them. That I wanna go to Genesis.
WELL, they're not happy about it, although they are happy about me wanting to see the world (I think?).
They're not happy because I've gone and basically said 'I wanna go spend tons of money after you guys decided to cut my board in half'.
SO, they're gonna put my board up back a bit. I don't know how much a bit is. Though, if it's anything higher than $25+ p/w I don't think it would be responsible of me to go
I mean, there's 8 months left in the year. That's like $800.
I'll come though. Just means I'll be buying less food at work/uni, and preparing more at home from now on. rofl.
