It's me again. Pokemon, and furries are 2 separate entities. Pokemon in general are created animals on thier own, and if they actually happen to have the ability of speach, they are still more of a new animal than an anthopomorphised version of an existing species with heavy human traits, like Krystal. Fox and Krystal are wayyy more humanised than the average pocket monster. Stand up a fox, does it have the same bidily shape as a human being? I doubt a female fox has the human breasts or hips. That is a furry. Krystal is sadly an obviously sexualised thing. Pikachu.... is not.

I honestly wouldn't mind if Krystal was in the game (Altough I would perfer tons of other options.) but when "She's hot" is the reasoning behind it, I can not stand it. I often have my problems with the furry community due to thier mindset. It's merely due to my differing opinion. I thing a good section of the population is full of deviants and people with poor self image, but that doesn't make them all bad or crappy at art.

Krystal is a hairy person with an animal's head, and doesn't exist. That's kinda creepy.

Really, I think the character discussion forum isn't reall useful at all. We won't know who will be in the game until it arrives. All this is is insane speculation that will amount to nothing except "told you so"s from whoever was right. Followed by everyone reclusing themselves and playing the game for years until the next game is announces, rinse, and repeat.

I honestly doubt Krystal will be in the game. Yeah there is a lack of female characters, thing is, they aren't REQUIRED to add any female characters. Equality is a nice thought, but not really possible. Plus, this game is coming from Japan, not the USA. Although a progressive country, thier concept of Equality is like different from ours. I don't even know if Japan cares about Krystal even, I could look it up, any of you could look it up. I really doubt it though. And, I doubt you're constant debate of the subject, which is usually just everyone agreeing with each other, dotted with rare occasions of people like me popping in with naysaying, followed by dissapointment and indignation of the "Yes" people. Your input in this subject is very unlikely to affect the game release, and is simply speculation and guess work.

We won't know until the game comes out/people are announced in the trailers. Here's my final word, I could assume there might be an additional person from the Star Fox series. But, they aren't obliged to add anyone from a series. Look at Ness and Captain Falcon, they're lone represenatives of thier worlds, and have been in 2 games alone. Fox got the accompaniment of Falco. Through that logic, they're more due for characters than Fox.

I dunno, I'm rambling here, maybe keep my words in mind.

Thank you for posting your reasoning. As a matter of fact, there are a number of people who identify with the furry comunity who are not interested in the pr0n. Many of them go around with tails and ears "because it's fun."

AS for krystal being in the game, Starfox is a Tier 2 franchise, that rated an in-franchise clone in melee, along with Fire Emblem. (Pokemon, Mario, and Zelda are the Tier 1 franchises) Since Melee, Metroid has moved up to Tier 2, but still, that's a pretty exclusive groop. With Falco and Roy being either replaced or completely rebuilt, I believe we might get a chance to see Lyn, Krystal, and Ridley in Brawl.

Because Pokemons are animals too and that fact that Mewtwo can go into space so he could be a space animal linking him to Star Fox and the others.

My reasonaing instead of calling pokemon animals as a whole because not all of them are right ie bug type and grass type are just bugs and moving plants right? I would use that Mew means cat. So he's a cat.

Sakurai was interested in Krystal, so I believe that may add to her chances to be in Brawl.

Now, because Furs are like that, we don't really have a way to frown on the more... extreme perversions. The best we can do is make a separate section of imageboards, to exile them to... but to normal people, this seems like furs as a whole support everything that gets put there. Combine that with the bad press furs get, like that CSI episode, (Again, with the extremists being depicted as "regular furries") and you understand why normal people all think we're sick and twisted.

Krystal in Brawl makes a lot more sense than some of the smegging **** that has come up.

She wouldn't need to be a Fox/Falco clone. As so many people have pointed out, she fights using her staff, and a couple of good moveset ideas have been thrown together in this topic, amid the trolling and furry-bashing spam.

IMHO, when the only arguments being voiced against a character are "OMG, X wud b soooooo much beTTer" and what is being essentially made into "Any1 hoo likes dis character is a ***!!!1!!", then I reckon you're onto a winner. And seriously, furry-bashers, if Krystal gets in, just think about how you could then beat the **** out of her, k?

^It has to do with how the Furry fandom started. When the concept of a furry comunity reached the gay community, they had less problems with "coming out of the closet" as a furry than "normal", repressed people. This doesn't mean any person who likes Krystal is gay, it just means the comunity (which many of you are not part of) has more gays than straights.
