idk what it is about retail but from my experience all the supervisors/manager are so ****ing rude and high and mighty that everyday i just wish i could put them in their place, i work 20+ hours in a day and half timespan and at the end of todays shift my supervisor has the gull to tell me we didnt do anything all day when were working like dogs for this guy to get the store up and running, i could rant so much but i wont lmao..stay in school kids, i feel bad for people that do this **** full time

Just wanted to bring to everyones attention that the Unity Ruleset has been updated. Here are the changes

The BBR-RC has updated the Unity Ruleset. As always we will continue to discuss the rules of tournaments across the country and will do our best to adapt with the constantly changing metagame. We are still discussing some aspects that were simply not ready for release at this time, like expanding the number of starters and the possible inclusion of a new stage. The new version 1.1 rules have the following modifications.

Pictochat is now banned

Conduct Rule #2 has been modified to: Pause can be requested off and that request cannot be denied. If one pauses mid-match, the person who initiated the pause loses their current stock. If the pause causes the opponent to lose their stock (Such as interfering with recovery), the person who initiated the pause loses two stocks.

For better clarity, General Gamplay rules #4 and #7 have been changed to:

#4: All infinites and chain grabs are legal.
#7: The act of stalling is banned: stalling is intentionally making the game unplayable: Such as becoming invisible, continuing infinites, chain grabs, or uninterruptible moves past 300%, and reaching a position that your opponent can never reach you.

Finally, the creation of Conduct Rule #11:Disrupting your opponent physically or intending to disrupt their play (through something such as screaming in a player's ear) will result in a warning. Repeated action will result in disqualification from the tournament and possibly ejection from the venue. Observers who physically disrupt players are to be dealt with as the Tournament Organiser sees fit. Disqualification is recommended if possible, and ejection from the venue is also a punishment.

And finally, two general clauses to help protect TO's:
•These rules are subject to change leading up to the event date. The Tournament Organizer reserves the right to remove you from the venue at his discretion for any reason.
•The Tournament Organizer and his assistents, and any persons helping run the event may not be held liable for any lost, stolen, or damaged goods during this event. Nor will the Tournament Organizer, the venue, its owners, affiliates, employees, members, sponsors, or volunteers be held liable or responsible for any injury or harm that may befall a person during the course of this event. By entering the venue during the posted date you are displaying your agreement with this policy.

Sorry for the delay in updating the PR. the delay was meant for the theme to be put up wih it but Michelle has been ridiculously busy with work so she hasn't put much time into it. I'm afraid I can't update you guys on when it will actually be put up, but Beast Wars isn't necessarily the most inspiring thing, in my opnion that is.

Michelle played around with Da Hype a bit to improve it's look. I think it makes it look much neater. I'll update current hypes when I can with A&C Games tournament. Some hype things went down that day.

I'm doing Elo ratings for our region.
K-value will start with 50 and increase by 10 for every tournament, so that each tournament is weighted more heavily than the last, but not by too much.
For small tournaments like the A&C one and stuff like MK banned ones, I'll be using a K-value of 1/4 of what it would be, rounded up.

So here are the top 20 players as of the Monster Smash, with a requirement of a rating of at least 1000. Outdated, but it's coming along. Oh, just a note, Pools will fully affect your rating. However they'll use the K-Value of the previous tournament, since imo brackets should be more heavily weighted than Pools. For those who don't know, this takes individual matches into account, not tournament placings. Oh, and as the Ontario Pwns is only mildly counted towards PR I'll be using a K-Value of 40, or half of what its value should be.
Amateur Brackets will be considered a "small" tournament. Thus the Spring Smash Showdown Amateur Bracket will be using 90/4, or 23.
Ratings will reset in January.
