Mario's first aerial cape gives him vertical rise. This was common knowledge in melee. I guess it could be a bit useful but maybe i would cape backwards, bair then up b to grab the ledge or something like that.

Because Marth was way more popular and used a lot more.

But Snake's grenades explode causing damage to him. I dont know if the bike parts or armor parts would "change possesion" and cause damage to the thrower due to water gun. ill test it out tomorrow if no one gives an answer i guess.

Ivysaur crawls... although it barely lowers her vertical height.

I found i use watergun easily to gimp Ness's and Lucas's returns. As soon as they use Pk Thunder, hit them with the watergun and i've found this works as a decent edgeguard.

I plan to play in the gamestop tournament as Kirby, and hope i'll be able to attend others in the future.

Character choice shouldn't be determined by tier . You should just play with who you like. Don't let tiers or other people's opinions sway your judgement. I really don't care what Kirby's placement on tier list will be, I still plan on maining him. If your so concerned about tiers, just main Fox...

Awesome comparison. I can't wait for brawl to re-enact some of the epic battles kirby had in yesteryear. I think it's pretty cool that kirby and his rival are almost balanced in some aspects to each other.

I'd say careful spacing of aerials, or using moves with high shield stun to avoid being grabbed.
