Jump or time shield wavedashes to avoid SHLs. As for Fox's shine, that's up to you. I usually shield the shines until I can find an opening to start up a combo.

It doesn't really matter what button you use to jump so long as you are more comfortable using whatever button you use.

Not bad, not bad at all! I would suggest you down throw on Marth because it can lead into combos better than up throw can. Also, you can chain grab down throws on Marth at low percentages. At higher percentages you should down throw > knee. Also, when you are on the ledge, try mixing it up a bit...

From my personal experience, I find Nair to be a very good approach to opponents due to the fact that there are two hits. Try not to use Raptor Boost as much because if you miss, then you will be greatly punished. Also tech chasing after grabs is very useful for getting hits in. Just my two cents.

I play FD against Fox/Falco the most because there is a lot of running space for combos and tech chasing.

Larger stages such as Final Destination and Pokemon Stadium are usually the best choices for Captain Falcon counter picks. Then again, I have seen Isai choose Poke Floats as a counter pick stage before.

Ok so my friend and I play 2 v 2 at school pretty much every day but we keep losing to the team of Fox and Marth. My friend plays as Fox and I play as Ganon. Are there any good counter picks to that team? I was thinking of swapping Ganon for someone. Any help would be appreciated.
