    Yoshi is broken...

I found a tech: Yoshi can fly. And spit fireballs.

Yeah! Thankzz 4 backin me up

    Egg Roll goodness (sideB)

^ this. Even if it has priority, it's slow to start and slow to finish, so the only time you should have a chance to use its priority is when your opponent is bad/terrible. Now, if Yoshi's side-B was like Jigglypuff's, then we'd be talking.

    Interesting ledge recovery... method

O_o I doubt it hits this far underneath the lip. And I haven't played a decent Snake... what do they do, plant bombzz on the lip?

    Interesting ledge recovery... method

I say "method", but what I really mean is "advanced technique". It works on Final Destination, and probably Battlefield (anywhere where the edge is on a "lip" hanging off the platform). When underneath the lip, use one of your jumps while facing into the stage. Your head should hit the...

Laser Lock Them At 14% *Update I Discovered How To Laser Lock Them At 0%*

That made sense... That didn't. v_v We're screwed if we don't show a video of our skill?

    thunderstorming question

Thunder storming isn't even that useful if you're playing half-decent people. It's actually (in my opinion) more useful to do a full jump instead of a short hop, which lets you double jump afterwards (so you can basically do super high thunderstorming with 2 dairs at a time); it's better because...

    Not sweet spotting the uppercut

If you up-B from a particular spot below the edge and hold down, you can hit people standing on the edge with the little uppercut at the end of the move, but all your hurtboxes stay below the stage. It's like a sweet spot for not sweet spotting. :O Does anybody else regularly hold down when...

So Awesome And Yet... Not So Awesome

If you're playing Metaknights who get consistently hit with flame chokes, then that would be why you find 'good' characters so easy. There's more to a character than inherent goodness... there's also the player's basic ability to dodge a fairly easy-to-dodge move. :(

I've found a sort of lagless flame choke, but it has pretty specific requirements

Know what's really cool? I did the short-hop flame choke to someone standing on the edge of Battlefield, and they grabbed the edge when they hit the ground.

Laser Lock Them At 14% *Update I Discovered How To Laser Lock Them At 0%*

OH MAN. I played against my first Falco today, and multiple times I had to pause, sit back and take deep breaths etc, and try not to curse the developers out loud. What were they thinking? WHO LET THIS CHARACTER GET BY QUALITY ASSURANCE? I'm a Ganondorf, so. You know. These things happen from...

    Overcoming scrubness to play competitively.

Broken characters aren't fun because often, even if it's possible to beat them, it means restricting yourself to certain moves/tactics that work. The game's more fun if you can use everything you've got and be creative. Sometimes there's very good characters who can still be beaten with pure...

Air Tripping - Now without video proof (yet again)...

Air tripping is clearly a lame feature, but it's rare enough not to completely invalidate competitive play. Maybe in the future some 'important match' will be decided by an air trip, and emotions will be sparked, and the Internet will erupt in furious debate... and then there will be a re-match...

    Infinite-A

No, you can't just mash it - sliding down to B and then back to A saves a few frames, because it actually cancels the inital jab into a B move, then immediately cancels that back into the second part of the A combo. Better yet, if you do it on the ledge, you can save a third frame because the...
