    Magiks Casa Tournament

I have nothing to do with this tournament but I found it worth noting that the above post made me lol.

    Bullet Seed

Yeah, Yoshi has the fastest horizontal acceleration. He's followed by Jiggs, Wario, and Wolf I think.

    Best PT Player?

I'm not sure I fully understand what superhacker meant about Charizard and Ivysaur, but I'm almost sure I don't agree. Squirtle can usually be played at a decent level if one merely remembers to pressure with safe aerials, not lose ground to projectile spammers, cover your *** with jabs, and...

    Bullet Seed

Any decent player can continuously smash DI to the left or right and escape the stream of seeds early, taking only half what they would have otherwise taken and positioning themselves for punishing Ivy. Great players can often predict and smash DI the original BS hit (the pop-up) and avoid the...

    Best PT Player?

I'd say the best PT player would be the one who's placed higher at tournaments as a PT main relative to all other PT mains. I don't know who that would be.

FINAL RESULTS: Trainer Tussle II (BRACKET PHOTO)

For those of you who don't know, my connection just cannot meet Brawl's requirements, so I couldn't participate. Good job to the winner.

So does Samus suck now, or am I missing somthing

Are you kidding? R.O.B. has pretty much the best projectile game in Brawl, and he is one of the more likely future additions to the top tier rank. Pit is balls though.

    C.I.P N.F.B II Tourney Results!!!

Characters used by the top placers would be good.

    Ivysaur: Weakest link?

You can't force every character in any fighting game into the same archetype or mold. It's like trying to swing a broken beer bottle the same way you would nunchuks. That seems to be your problem.

Trainer Tussle II (PT WiFi Tourney, 6/22, 6:30 PM EST)...PRIZE FOR 1st!!

You know what would make this go a lot smoother? If we all registered each other's Brawl FCs beforehand, so that finding your opponent is a simple matter of looking up the name. What do you all say? Also, what chat room will we be using?

    Ivysaur Tactical Discussion

v Er.. yeah, I did mean utilt, not ftilt. I do get some of those in the face whenever I start to form a pattern. Even some of the better Snakes so far are trigger happy with utilt, so luring it out is not that hard an endeavor. In any case, Snake is ridiculous. You need to play perfectly...

So does Samus suck now, or am I missing somthing

Dude, just hang in there. Nothing's set in stone yet. How do you think I feel at tournaments (PT main)? If your Samus is struggling, try to reevaluate how you view her as a competitive character. The problem may seem insurmountable yet be rooted in basic stuff. Anyway, Samus actually has a...

So does Samus suck now, or am I missing somthing

Wow, well I'm certainly not going to go point-for-point here, as I didn't at all expect such a wall-of-text as a response. One of the cons I did forget to mention is that you cannot do anything out of ball form now. Yes, it does suck. Now, on to some other things you mentioned which are...

So does Samus suck now, or am I missing somthing

Samus does not suck at all in Brawl, but people are mainly saying she does because mostly they do not know what makes a good or bad character. Things that got worse from melee: - Nair lost priority and power. - Missile spam not as dominant (due to missile canceling being more limiting). -...

    pokemon trainer rule

First of all, I rarely see people claiming it's the way to win with PT. What's more common though, is "to be a 'real' trainer, you MUST use all three". And again, you're being presumptuous. How do you know that is the way one should play if they want to win? It's unjustifiably overconfident...
