I'll probably be stopping by Sunday afternoon and will hopefully bring a few friends. I'll also see what I can bring as far as systems are concerned if it looks like there's a need for it.

Melee Stayed Alive: KMA2 [10/9/10] *Results are up*

I live basically right next to the tournament, but I can go a little out of my way to get someone if it's like 10 or 15 minutes. If you're pretty close by, you can IM me at qwaszx7410 just like my username or send me a private message on here. Sorry I didn't check this until now, but if you're...

Hey! Is anyone in this thread still active? I just realized I forgot to post here. We're going to be having Melee monthlies down at Pomona this year in Wig. Let me know if you're interested. Tips on how to Sandbag like a Pro

I like to play as Link/Y. Link using only my feet and hookshot or play Falcon using only nairs and upB. That way they'll be able to live to decently high percentages if they have any recovery skills and I can still work on spacing and shuffling.

Anyone manage to start a Smash club in their high school?

If you're worried about getting immature Halo players, just make it a Nintendo club like my school did, and it will become 90% melee, maybe a little brawl.

    Claremont Colleges Smash

Hey, don't know if anyone's still on this thread, but I'm a freshman at Pomona looking for some other good players. I've got my own setup if anyones every interested. Message me on here if you ever want to play. I'm not fantastic, but I can hold my own.

    rate my falcon

Nice, but there are a few habits you should get over like hoping that your opponent won't sweetspot so you can hit with those charged forward smashes.

    Rate my Sheik

I agree with the spot dodge comments. Every action should either work in your favor or be neutral for you, at least in planning, and compulsive spot dodging leaves you vulnerable to long lasting attacks or retaliation after quick attacks. On recovery, manage your spacing from the ledge so that...
