    Samus pillar combo

You don't even need to DI, it is simply not a combo, you can shield any of your moves (down tilt or ANA) since on your video, we can clearly see Link standing. This is not Melee, not many moves can connect out of aerials.

    Air Stalling: Useful?

It is not really useful actually, way too risky and it is requires too strict conditions to pull it off. Moreover, the people concerned by this technique are mostly light and have great recoveries (mainly Toon Link, who has crazy jumps), so you may think this is not really useful at all...

    Sonic Techniques

I don't know if anybody noticed it, but I posted a few days ago about the possibility of cancelling the charge of the forward-B with a shield. Nevertheless, you cannot shield cancel the forward-B if you did it in the air.

    New Tecnique. DLX-Hit-cancel.

Since I now know how it works, it really doesn't look like IASA : you can clearly see it is a cancel. By the way, you can cancel the dash attack only if it hits the opponent, whenever it hits (that is to say during the first/on-going/last frames of the dash attack). If it really were IASA...

    New Tecnique. DLX-Hit-cancel.

As I said on youtube, you can spam Up with C-stick while dashing and attack.

    New Tecnique. DLX-Hit-cancel.

I recorded and uploaded a better quality video of this tech. Just watch it here : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TtxbcqWUQpE P.S.: Maybe I'll record it again, the video is kinda blurry.

    Differences between forward+B and down+B ?

Found something even greater (don't know if it were posted) : you can instantly cancel the forward B charge with the shield (just press L or R while holding B). That leads to a new possibility for Sonic : you can shield cancel while fox trotting, just make a dash, then press forward+B+L/R...

    Differences between forward+B and down+B ?

Well, now my mind is clear : - side B does a small jump first, and can be jump cancelled, but if you cancel it while in air, you cannot double jump, since it uses your second jump. I find it hard to use on an opponent on the ground because of the jump and of the risks you're taking (you may...

    Differences between forward+B and down+B ?

Just as the title of the thread says. The only difference I noticed is that Sonic cannot launch his down+B while in the air, on the contrary of the forward+B, which makes me think that it is useless. Still, I'm curious about the differences between the damage dealt and the knockback given by...

You can use the hookshot more than once in the air!

Beware, with any character who have a "hookshot" (ZSS, Samus, Sheik, Link, T.Link), you can use the Hookshot as many times as you want, BUT, in order to prevent "hookshot stalling", the hookshot cannot grab the edge if it already grabbed the edge 3 times.

No Tiers in Brawl: Theory of Character Counters

Tiers are a theoric study, but some players like to present a representative tier list by looking at tournament results. This is not the same thing, you can take the exemple of 3S, in which Yang is not very played, but is the 5th top tier (while RX is pwning everyone with Urien, a...

    New Tecnique. DLX-Hit-cancel.

Sounds to me like Marth's IASA frames.

    Dair glitch

Absolutely not, the freeze empeches you from falling suddenly, not going upwards (and BTW, you need to double jump to do the freeze, so you are supposed to go even upper).
  14. S

    Dair glitch

I quite agree with the idea "it should be instantaneous", since Toon Link and ZSS are the only one who are floating during some secondes, meanwhile, Sonic, Sheik, G&W or the IC's do not float, but just stop going up, stay still during a few frames (I'd say less than 15), then fall down. Or...

    Slowed Down A

I agree it may not be a glitch, but Toon Link is the only one with ZSS to float like that. Sonic/Sheik/G&W or the IC's are just slowed down, but not floating like that.
