First off, I want to thank everyone for coming out. Hopefully you all had fun at the tourney

Second, I want to apologize for things taking much longer than planned. My backup Steve had to back out from attending the tourney due to a family emergency. Unfortunately, he was going to bring 6 setups, and his family told me this at 6am Saturday morning. I had already cancelled some events because of it (BlazBlue, MK9, 3SO), but I probably should've cancelled even more events...but some people came out only for SCV or KOF so I wanted to still run them so they wouldn't get screwed over. That, coupled with 5 total xbox setups (one of which was my own on the stream) led to some things running pretty late. For that I do greatly apologize. Future 5 dollar footdive events will only have 5 events (brawl doubles brawl singles UMVC3 SFXT singles, and cycling one other event different every month)

With the planned events next time, the stream will also be more switching around. I believe it was SFxT and Marvel all day but I was too busy to notice lol. Well anyway, here are the full results, and thanks again to everyone for coming out!

Yeah a few of the people from marvel was abit upset from how long it took but you did good though . Next time lets have people bring set ups for the other games. And perhaps a fan for that really hot room lol.

Amazing tourney, GDX! I had a blast even though I didn't enter. I was gonna enter but then MK got cancelled (salt). Can't wait for the next one.

Kyon: For beasting in singles and winning doubles and paying Action B's double...I felt that I should have used it for singles.
D-Torr: For doing a good job at Marvel.
Sensei: Beasting at Marvel and Brawl.
Poinciana: because they ask Action B. to put them on his shoutout list.
Wizzdrove: for being good at both melee and brawl.
Kuro: for going wario during our team match, was pretty fun.

Next time just do Top 4 payouts for the FGC games. I know it's not my tourney but top 6 payouts for anything less than 33 entrants isn't fair imo.

if its less than 16 entrants than yea ill do top 4. But i like paying out to 6th for games over 16. entices more players to enter the tourney, at the cost of 1st place receiving 10% less. 1st still gets almost half the pot at 40%...top 4 payout 1st would get 50%. 2nd-4th amounts arent change at all as they stay at their respective payouts no matter what (25%, 15%, 10% respectively), and the 10% from first is split between the two 5th placers.

i admit its different, but I think its better for all the players entering

All in all It was a great tourney gdx I loved it. My only complaint was marvel starting late cus I was really hype for it, but given the situation its cool so are events at next level going to keep featuring other fighting games like marvel now? Cus if thats true im very hype
