no i haven't added any tournaments since my last update. My program is about 95% done, i'll be finishing it tonight. After that it'll just be compiling all the new data.

And Melee needed this but be careful people will probably want Fox banned once the data shows he is 2-3 times more productive then the next best character (which the data will show eventually I'm sure).

lol, that would never happen. The only reason Fox is so high is because he is represented the most, he hasn't taken a top spot in a National in a long time. And people can reference the last SMYM all the want, as unknown posted (I'm not sure if it's this thread or the MU-chart) there were no top level Falco/Jiggs there to stomp the Fox's out.

Probably what makes Fox so high is that he's the universal secondary, if you have good tech skill he's almost always a solid choice with virtually no bad matchups.

Alpha was referencing the brawl community in his post. The brawl counterpart of this thread uses the same method and showed that MK had many more points than the next best character. Almost the entire pro-MK ban argument was based on that data, even though MK hasn't won a national tournament in a long time either.

It's nice to see a CRL where 1st place doesn't have almost always have 2x and in rare ocassions almost 3x second place's points. LOL

Eternal Yoshi, look up a few posts to my last post and see that fox has more than 3x the points everyone else does. This isn't final, but this is what i'm talking about when i say the results are skewed by pound4/genesis. puff/peach/sheik taking 200+ points each from a single tournament is kinda silly.

I think this list is accurate, i'm glad marth is 2nd on the High tier list, makes me feel good about myself, jk (ok maybe 50%)

Oh, that's right. It's flabbergasting how much points players of giant tourneys can bring to characters alone.

I imagined that M2K would bring Marth's points up more but I see this isn't done yet. OK.

It's strange there are so many characters that are unranked. Oh well.

Good players are getting off on the rest of the players. Fox/falcon are just over popular with talented players. That's how I feel anyway. Like IC's and above on the tier list IMO are just as good just less popular with the good players.
