Max, if you quit, I'm going to pick up Brawl competitively.

Ouch... that's... some slander. Hell, at least you would have more comp to play with.

And it's not an issue of bumps. Yeah everyone hits them here and there, but for me it's really an issue of fun. I don't get the same joy out of playing this game than I did back when I first started. The Doc boards are too good though, so I can't just quit.

i've heard a viscous rumor that the doc boards think marth is an easy matchup for doc? If so i dont know what the hell your all smokeing. Marth out ranges and out prioritises doc in every way.

wow such cheap shots at me. Actually I mix up the color I play, but I switch between Blue/White the most.

Also two things. Mad props to Dogy for winning a local tourney, now us other Doc's gotta start stepping **** up. Also, turns out Sheik can't be Doc's hardest matchup,... cause you can CC the **** out of like every single move she does. Ftilt? nah **** that, wd->dsmash. Fair? Nah **** that too, wd-> dsmash. Gentlemen, this matchup just got gayer.

you can ccdownsmash, but it gets harder the better she spaces.

Dunno how well any other CCCounter would work, i used to not CC at all, so i dont have the other stuff ingrained into my memory, i just have my peach tactics there.

if sheik does her aerials crisply, by which i mean low and lcanceled, u cant punish them with a CC, she can just keep jumping away.

cc her tilts/jab, thats where its at.

but you can cc grab her tilts and or cc dsmash or w.e rubbish you intend to do
i prefer grabs at lower percents, and dsmash at higher, depends on how you like to kill,
with a dsmash to edge gaurd or just a flat out dthrow fair >_>

those arent exact, but they're close.

Spacing doesn't have anything to do with whether doc can CC the attack or not

maybe it affects the WD>dsmash you were hoping for, but other than that

I would laugh, but i lowtier main kirby. Ducking **** is in my nature. :D

A funny fact about doc and ducking, doc can duck ganon's grab unless it's perfectly spaced. There actually is a "too close" for this too.

Another funny fact about doc ducking is that him looking back and forth actually changes his hitbox. The "tierlist" for all this is on m2k's stat list, but it's something like, doc/mario (and i think luigi) actually duck lower than marth and roy, but when they look to the side, their hitbox goes higher.

.... -shrugs- something crazy like that.

Ima go play some Soul Nomad and the World Eaters for a bit, ill keep hitting f5 every now and then. >.>

I've noticed that you can duck under ice climbers shorthopped bair, which can lead straight into a downsmash

that is if you're not too scared of getting grabbed

Doubt PAL changes anything.

I'd imagine if they were doing auto cancelled SH b.airs, you could duck it, but i know you cant duck SHFFLs, they hit the ground. >.>
