here is a little help with the hotels thanks to Dect Rockin
All the ones with a decent price range is in Matthattan. I'll see if I can find some more hotels later on as well as people who would house. Most of these hotels range from 200-300 dollars. All the ones highlighted in green are less then 200.

I am looking up hotels near the venue...most hotels are easily accessible by train so that shouldn't be a problem.

I'd help you with Snake before the tourney if I was at a convinent location, but I'm coming to this too.
I'll play against you when we get to the tourney, like a few friendlies or something... Anyway

I'm going to play so many friendlies, or maybe just a few until I'm ready.

Expect an appearance from me, though I don't know why IC chaingrabs are banned when it's legal everywhere. Banning their CG's just makes them not good or threating anymore and it will turn away any IC main that wants to come Oos. If I'm paying $15 dollars, I want to play them to their potential, it's not like they have DDD's grab range and there's no ICs that are winning NY tourneys just on grabs. I just think that their grab game shouldn't be banned. DDD i can understand though, but he still could CG either way so....

Chibo, are you OK? It's perfectly fine to copy paste a tournament OP and rearrange it to match the details of your own tournament. It's not like you instantly get copyright privileges over a post layout. If anything he just saved a lot of time.

Oh so we ARE doing crews? Awesome I have a team of New Yorkers and a Massachusetts player wanting to join me in some crew action. Should be interesting. I may be the only Michigan player going to this but whatever I'm ready for Apex XD How many crews are supposed to be entering so far do we know yet?

That's cool sounds like fun to me. Of course I'm going to be focusing on Brawl singles but this will be a fn little event in itself. Since I'm getting housing from you guys I wanna know is there any interesting places to hang out and play "tourist" for a bit? Might as well enjoy the sites for a night while I'm over in NY.

Just one thing I want to make clear, since I didn't see this in the counter picking rules.

Can I still say I choose random stage for counterpick, and force the opponent to keep their character?
I'd like to have that cleared out. Seems like a staple rule to me.

in all tournament that rule has changed...players who won have the option to change...this is only AFTER loser picks stage and not before.
