It was stated in the manual, but quickly became contradicted with the boxer persona King Krusha K. Rool.

There was also the unnamed Aztec persona from Mario Super Sluggers.

K. Rool's boxing outfit is a lot less extreme than his pirate and scientist alter egos though. Also, he's still referred to as King K. Rool while wearing the Egyptian-themed outfit.

The Wario approach would probably work better for K. Rool's costumes. Rather than Wario's six palette swaps for two costumes, K. Rool could work with four palette swaps for three costumes, coming out to the same number of appearances to switch between.

Ermm Well in DKC he was just abit bigger then DK but in DK64 last battle he was like the size of Chunky when he is big..

I see K.Rool abit like bowser he changes size all the time.

And No fitting K.Rool in Smash is not impossible if he is impossible so is Bowser there litreally in the same boat.

Its if Sakurai is Bothered or deems them worthy apart from that nearly everyone is possible.

K. Rool, like Bowser, constantly changes size.
He was twice as big as DK and Diddy (who were strangely around the same size as each other) in DKC1, yet not as big compared to Diddy again in DKC2, and arguably even smaller when you comare his sizes in both DKC2 and DKC3 to Dixie Kong.

Then DK64, he was shown to be a bit larger compared to his minions, then his boss fight had him GINORMOUS.

So yeah, he has a bit of an inconsistency problem. He'd probably be around DK's size in Smash.

K. Rool's size is easy enough to change around, since he's never actually dwarfed DK as a boss, Giga K. Rool in Jungle Climber aside. That said, a playable K. Rool would likely be one of the game's largest characters, and should be heavier than DK.

Dwarfed, meaning "been the size of a bloody planet." K. Rool has clearly been larger than DK in his most prominent fights.

That is not the proper term for "dwarfing" someone.
By definition, K. Rool is dwarfing DK in those images as he is making look DK look small in comparison.
