stomp at 40-60%
reverse bair right before they hit the ground (they attempt to tech the stomp)
knee the missed tech in front of you (cannot tech within 20 frames of pressing L/R)

not sure if it works, but it could be similar to the ganon dthrow->jab->fair tech trap

i think the tech penalty is 40 frames, not 20

and it'd really that you can't tech between frames 21-60 after pressing L/R or something like that if you want to get technical

if you wavedash first, moonwalk is betta. usually you can just dash -> moonwalk since falcon's dash animation gets him so far. but ya.

After a d-throw, dash towards the ledge.

Instead of running off, pivot so you fall off with your back facing away from the stage. Then hit them withe the weak part of the u-air.

im pretty sure the wavedash one is faster frame wise, but i think the best is to just moonwalk toward the edge in the first place and jump all the way to it backwards

for years now thats basically been the only situation i use moonwalking in

the old trick tapion taught me in falcon dittos like 4 years ago was at around 50% uthrow ftilt then knee the mised tech, works the same way

I think that also works because the Fox tries to tech the uthrow and misses it due to the ftilt. Then he can't tech the ftilt because of the 2/3 of a second teching rule.

ight i was just making sure cuz most of the time i would just do that, i was just wondering if wavedashing would be more effective

edit: did u guys no if u full hop uair, bair, and knee if ur really really fast, u can wave land on platforms, it looks cool cuz u'd week bair them wave land backwards and reverse knee them if they cc it or bair them or uair, or w.e u wana do instead of knee works on PS, YS, DL, BF i think only uair works on DL tho

The tech penalty is the reason like 90% of these combos end up working.

I like Scar's version of it, too; down angled ftilt to replace the dtilt.

if you must play on computers, I prefer level 4's because they kinda DI but don't do ******** things (offensively speaking) and generally let you get free hits for the most part
but all you can do is practice your speed...work on dashing ASAP out of l cancels, shffl uair combos, etc etc...marf is good for that

I know how to gentlemen into a dash, so I assume it's the same thing, except going into another gentlemen. The problem I see is, that I hold A to cancel the gentlemen, but I need to press A to gentlemen again so I'm a bit confused.

jump onto the left platform,
roll towards the right edge of the platform,
raptor boost.
