first match:
SuperBoom (Marth) vs. Caotic (Peach) - equivalent to a 2 stock

second match:
SuperBoom (Marth) vs. Doraki (Fox) - equivalent to a 3 stock

third match:
SuperBoom (Marth) vs. Vyse (Shiek) - took off 3 stocks and finally died

Sorry. But, SuperBoom did put up an amazing performance. Props. :)

At the beginning of the match, Superboom had 4 stocks and you had 3.

At the end of the match, SuperBoom had 2 stocks left and 102%.

If both of you had 4 stocks at the beginning of the match, it would have been the equivalent of a 2 stock.

That's what I was thinking at the time.

But, then, while I was typing this out, I thought about how you started with 3 stocks and if you had started with 4, you might have been able to take off another one...
And then, it might, indeed, be considered a 1 stock.

And then, I got really confused and stopped thinking...

You should put up the Superboom matches anyway. Content can't hurt this thread, even if it bends your self-made rules.

aww Vyse. Much love. Yeah, Dan got so greedy at the end with the spike, but boy would that have been a sick finish.

It's too bad FalseFalco's performance wasn't recorded. He took off 10 stocks as well. ):

Okay. I added the SuperBoom matches and I cleaned up the OP and made it look prettier. And now, I can finally take a break. :)

EDIT: Oh, yeah. About that .gif. At that point, I was just choosing random Melee moments that stuck out in my mind. Let me know of you guys have anything better or more fitting to make into .gifs.

**** thread, thanks Cero. Quick question though... that 3rd gif from the teams section, the Fox/Falcon combo on Corneria... what match is that from!? I feel stupid for never seeing it before. :(

Too bad FalseFalco's 10 streak on the same crew battle wasn't recorded.

Eggm wasn't trying in that match though lol. He said himself that Jman was playing too well (God he ***** in Fox dittos) and he wasn't feeling too great about the set at that point, so he gave up.

So anyone can just suicide their last stock and have it not count as a 4-stock?

I don't think you should make any concessions to quitters, even though this seems to be a rare exception for PC.

If PC hadn't suicided at the end, there may have been a chance of him taking off a stock or two. (very slim though)

And also, the fact that PC suicided at the end means that that it wasn't a 4 stock because Mew2King didn't earn the last stock. PC just gave up at the end.

Wow, this is an old match! Lol.
I'm pretty sure I won't include it because... Well, it was pretty painful to watch. :ohwell:

They began the match with 3 stocks. The ending was especially painful to watch because of how bad the red team's "team work" was.
And, the match ended in a sudden death (which they actually played out).

Not surprising... It was a 2004 match after all.
