Hey all,

I am a rather new Diddy Kong player, and I was wondering what the best controller mapping wouild be for him? Any suggestions would be great.

I don't have a solo nunchuck to use on my wii, it has to be attached to the wii remote for the wireless, I have to get a modded one sometime

I love the Diddy boards

New guy, we've had several threads about control schemes that you should be able to find with a quick search. I personally have Y set to grab for easier Z-Catching and R set to Jump so I can do more OoS stuff with Tap Jump off. The best advice I can give is solochuck figuring out what buttons you don't use on the default layout and remapping those buttons to something useful. The main thing I would recommend is turning off Tap Jump since Diddy doesn't do that much OoS that requires a Jump, and it's easier to angle your shield without it.

Jebus, I could have sworn you used some weird *** control scheme from the past threads

Hi.
Which is the name of the topic that has the recomendations of which stages ban, strike, counter vs every character?
P-1 gave me link long time ago but I can remember it now.

BTW, shouldn't that topic be listed somewhere or be a sticky topic (that way new people could know that it exist)?

I never really got into using the Y button, so I'm fine with Z-Catching with Z.

However, I like to instant-throw naners that are on the ground, on platforms, or falling vertically a little too often than I should.
Is there a more convenient way to do so? I use L to start the dodge animation, then a direction on the analog stick + A when jumping into the naner.

I use L+c-stick.

Zinotos better then you and he's been playing for a few months :)
P1's got more experience, he's probably more consistent than I am. Good luck at Apex btw, I can't make it out this year. Maybe we'll play some other time.
